We contacted you about our reservation
before leaving and received a wonderful
email from the manager of the apartment,
Domenico. I called him in Italy and he was
so helpful, he arranged for his driver to
pick us up at the airport and was at the
apartment to meet us. Wonderful!

we loved the location! The neighborhood was
safe and comfortable. We called Domenico
one night with a problem losing our keys and
he arrived to help us within minutes. We
were very impressed.

Check out was very easy. We had paid when
we first arrived so we were able to check
out quickly.

The apartment is a very nice size for four
people. It's location is super being near
Piazza Barberini with good bus and metro
connections and a great internet cafe. You
can walk to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish
Steps.

Vincenzo(owner) and Domenico Fato(interpreter) were outside the apartment and made us feel very welomed. they showed use the apartment and provided information about keys, hotwater, towels, etc and provided telephone numbers to contact them if we needed anything. the apartment is beautifully decorated and spacious and the location is superb for a tourist....the tile floors did need to be cleaned and we could not get the turbo-jets to work in the shower. Overall, we loved the apartment and would stay again and recommend it to our friends.

You should advise tourist that the subway station is 5 minutes and the bus stop and the tourist open air tour bus stop is also, 5 minutes away. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are a 10 or 15 minute, safe walk, even in the evening. Also, include information for local restaurants, cafes and markets.

Bernini Apartment is a 15 minute taxi ride from the Termini station for 11 euros. The apartment is on a small, cobble-stone side street only one block from Piazza Barbirini. You enter a huge marble foyer through massive, old world doors(Exterior locks) and come to the entrance doors, again Old world, massive and wooden, of the apartment. The living area and bedroom are very large and the floors are tiled through-out. The apartment is cool and quiet. The kitchen and bathroom are small but very adequate. The kitchen is sparsely equipped however, it is adequate unless you plan to do a lot of cooking. there is a wonderful, family owned Trattoria two blocks away, Gioia Mia, with a great varied menu, excellent food and superior service. There is also a small market two blocks away with cheeses, wines, bread and a good selection of food items. Our stay at the Bernini Apartments was excellent due to the great location and beautiful accomodations.

We booked an apt and collection from the airport. As first time visitors to Rome this was very useful.

As we booked an apt we had no constant contact with staff. Initial directions to many of the local sites were given on arrival and we found our own way around after that.
On the accommodation more natural ventilation would be required as there was a it of a smell in the air when we returned each evening.
The shower, although good when working, needs some maintainance. It only stays warm when the flow of water through the boiler is supplemented by have a hot tap running in the kitchen or bathroom. ie. there is not enough pressure in the boiler when only the shower is on.

LOCATION - Location of the apartment is ideal for the tourist. Close to both the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and a natural path to other tourist sites and shops.
The collection service is really worthwhile, especially if you have never been to Rome before.

Great location, handy to the transport system (if required), great if you want you own privacy and reasonablly priced.

Please note - there was no receptionist. We were met by a representative who explained everything. we left the keys on the table when we left - no check out required.

Location should be emphasised 5 minutes to Trevi - I thought before we got there it was a bit further away.

I would recommend Bernini Apartment to all my friends who are going to stay in Rome. The apartment is really very nice and all the info that we found in Romeby.com about it is true. The whole procedure was without any problems. Pick up service and check-in

It was a pleasure to return to the apartment after a long walking in the city. We felt ourselves at home there.

I think you could mention that the windows in the apartment cannot be opened and there is no view from them (it was not so important for us, but it could play a certain role for other guests ).

Accomodations were well represented in you description. You might note that the property has a washing machine but does not have a dryer. Most Americans would expect to have a dryer if a washing machine is present. Also a list/map with nearby services such as a supermarket, ATM, internet, etc. would have been very helpful.

Tile floor was a bit dirty but overall the apartment was clean and in good repair. The owner might consider replacing the mattress in the bedroom. The spare bed and futon bed were both very comfortable but the mattress in the bedroom was not supportive and was quite uncomfortable.

Our instructions were to leave the keys and shut the door behind us. Some people might be uncomfortable with not having a staff person to verify the apartment was left undamaged.

With a family of 5 it was challenging at times to have only one set of keys. We either could not split up and go in different directions or had to make sure that the person with the keys was back by a certain time. A second set would be great!

Apartment is in a great central location, close to many sights and the metro. Apartment is clean and has everything needed including pots and pans and dishes. Great way to have more space than at a hotel and for a better price. Highly recommended for families.

The apartment is in an excellent place, walking distance to major places. The size of the apatment is great. I think it need a better cleaner. It is ok, but it was not too clean when we arrived. Also the main bedroom matress has like a hole in the center. It needed a bit more clean in the shower, it had some mold. We use it to sleep basically, but It is just a quick comment about the cleaning of the aprtment. The size and location were excellent.

We were actually collected from the airport even though our flight was 2 hours late and after midnight so we thank them for that. I have sent a message direct to the owner saying everything in the apartment is beautiful but there is a shortage of cutlery, carving knifes for bread etc and could use a few more glasses, cups and saucers etc. Apart from that we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate booking it again if we come to Rome. No receoptionist but the driver that picked us up was very polite

Excellant, near to transport if needed but also in walking distance of some. Everything just as it shows on the web site. All clean and fresh. The property has some really nice features.

Window in bedroom - but no view - window does not open up

The apartment was in a faboulous location and on a quiet street. The apartment was a bit small - also - the bathroom had a smell of mold- but knowing the building is old - is is expected. Overall - a good stay.
