Domenico was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was plentiful and energising - just what we needed to walk around Rome all day. A good spot to stay if you don't want to pay extravagant Roma prices! ... The property had been internally renovated to a high standard and there were no problems with any of the facilities ... The local bancomats were out of order, so be careful to carry enough cash in hand to check-out! ... As above ... As above

Domenico was very helpful and recommended places to eat and see. He gave us a transport map and highlighted stops and routes to various sights and areas of Rome. ... Very friendly, clean and in an interesting, safe area of Rome with good transport links to the centre. Locla bars and restaurants are great. Each room has a computer with internet access and a safe as well as en suite.

Dominico told us everything we needed to know about the room and how best to get around town as well as places to eat in the local area. ... Best I've stayed in Rome. Great room, bed, sofa, bathroom/shower, plus internet/satellite TV and good breakfast. ... Better than anything you would find in Termini. A very relaxed location minutes from all the sites.

The host was already waiting us on the door, introduced himself and directed us to our room. ... The staff was very helpful also with all kinds of general information about the city, transport, dining etc. Room was cleaned every day and everybody respected your privacy. ... Comparing to other accommodation/hotel costs, it was reasonable money.
... It was a very cozy B&B - in a typical Italian house with a courtyard with hanging laundry and lots of flowers. The host was very helpful giving advice on transport, sights, dining out etc.Especially I was pleasantly surprised with our breakfast which was plentiful and delicious on the contrary what I had heard about Italian breakfast. All in all me and my husband were very satisfied with our stay there. Thank You!!!

Would go back for sure - Dominico went out of his way to be a good host. The rooms were large and clean, the breakfast was just what was needed and having internet access in the room was a nice bonus. Don't be put off by the outside of the building, inside you get the feel of living like a local, the area was great if not a little noisy at night. We found the bus links excellent and very reasonable in price. Thank you such a pleasent stay, hope to see you again soon. Marie, Bristol, UK

Fantastic. We were given a 20 minute introduction to Rome as including a map marked out for us showing our location, recommended local eateries and bus stops. ... Bus taking us to the centre of Rome stopped close by. Location in student area meant cheap eatery prices and lively nightlife. Cooked breakfast was very filling and delicious. Loved every minute of our stay. ... Modern, spacious rooms, very clean and tidy. Free internet was a big plus. Cooked breakfast was delicious and a wonderful start to each day. Even though the rooms are on the first level, a lift in the building made it very easy to get our gear in and out. Proximity to main train station and bus stops were invaluable in getting to the accomodation from each airport. 5 spuds out of 5.

Looking at the map, we underestimated the walk. You should give clear instructions on where to take which bus, because we found it is too far to walk with luggage ... recommandable without hesitation ... unusually clean and well kept. Don't let yourself be fooled by the exteriors of the building!

It was very difficult to find this place but the proprietor, Domenico, was terrific and even came to pick us up at the train station in Rome. He's a very fine example of superior customer service. It's just a very difficult place to find on your own. ... The free high speed internet access was a real bonus. Finding this property on your own would be virtually impossible. We were issued 'four' keys to get into our room. Makes one very worried about security. ... We enjoyed our stay. ... Very difficult to find. Must have owner show up to guide you. No way to get in if he's not waiting for you. No street access without a key (or four) ... Very interesting. Scary from a security perspective but very interesting. Enjoyed a short walk on the streets to a local restaurant. Very quaint.

Domenic the owner was great. When you first get there he goes through the local restaurants and attractions with you and how to get to them. He also was great when we took the wrong bus and ended up 12 kms away from the B&B at 1am in the morning. We called Domenic as we were totally lost and had no idea how to get back. He came and picked us up and brought us back to the B&B. Way beyond the service that he had to provide. Thank you Domenic! ... B&B is on the second floor of an apartment building. Rooms are very big and spacious with nice clean furniture (mostly from IKEA). Loud outside so bring earplugs if you're not a sound sleeper. Breakfast was freshly made for you when you awoke (any time between 7-11am). I would stay here again.

The room was very spacious, the breakfast was abundant and very delicious. The owner was helpful. The only negative thing I can say about our stay was that it was very noisy all the time - day and night ...And these motorcycles make horrible noises ... That the area is not so quiet. ... It was very, very good value for the money we gave and it would be a pleasure to stay there again, because the room was very well equipped and the area is connected with the center with buses and WE JUST LOVED ROME!

Our whole experience at University B&B was superb. An offer made to help with airport travel which is a nice gesture ... Everything was well done and the helpfullness of all was terrific. Brilliant value and the owner so very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and his information to us was very good. The accomodation was of the highest order, VERY clean and comfortable. Will be staying there again when I visit ... The staff offered to hold our bags securely for the rest of the day as it was a late flight - very helpfull gesture ... Maybe locations of local tram / bus stops ... Not to be concerned about the exteriour of the building but to expect a very high standard apartment of the highest standards Superbly clean Great staff.

We did not know how to get to the Bed & Breakfast from the train station. It would have been nice to have a map on how to get there. We had to ask questions and we spent two hours before somebody told us to catch the bus. I also tried calling but I was not able to get through. Came to find out later we were so close to the train station we could have walked. ... Our room was next to the street, so we could hear noise from there at night. ... It was reaaly nice for Domenico to let us use one room after checking out, while we did some more sight seeing. He also called a shuttle (his friend) for us to take us to the airport. ... Maybe a map that include the bus # from the train or airport. Maybe it was there and I just did not look hard enough? ... You do not have to share bathroom with the others. The breakfast is great and you can use the kitchen any time as long as you clean up after. The only thing we did not know how to start the gas stove, we had to go buy a lighter, but we found out later that there is a burner that works without a lighter.

I arrived late (last train from Fiumicino to Termini), but my wife had checked in before me and was able to open the door. ... Domenico is SUPER FRIENDLY and always willing to go the extra mile to help and answer questions. The breakfast is ESPECIALLY DELICIOUS (yogurt, meats, coffee, cheeses, etc.)
Having a computer with internet access AND a TV card (you can watch local TV and CNN on the computer) was especially helpful.
Overall, very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend it to others. ... One word of caution...BRING CASH IN EUROS TO PAY FOR YOUR STAY! There is no credit card payment option in this facility.
A mistake was made during checkout (we were charged more than was agreed). However, when I showed my voucher, the extra money was returned on the spot.
Make sure you have that voucher during checkout! ... Don't be concerned about graffity on the streets. We walked aroung the area around midnight in some evenings and felt pretty safe.
The definition of a 'short walk' from Termini to the B&B can be deceptive. We did it just fine, but you may want to consider taking a cab if you arrive at Termini and are bringing heavy luggage with you. ... Frindly, GREAT BREAKFAST, well located, fairly priced and a great value.

We were totally satisfied with the B&B, our room was clean and spacious. The owner, DOmenico was really kind and more than helpful. The room and bathroom was cleaned every day. And what a marvellous breakfast did they provide, it was really delicious and more than enough! Also it was a great location for a B&B because it's not in the noisy city centre but really close, and also close to several public transport lines. ...
