Signora Forquet offers a very warm welcome and takes care of your every need, from providing directions to tasting home cuisine - a truely Italian experience!! The entire stay at B&B Avignonesi was excellent; and I would recommend staying here; the location is fantastic - in such a key focal place within the city, which is basically walking distance to all the historical siets and in easy reach of bars, caffe's and resturants, simply in the heart of Rome. We hope to stay at B&B Avignonesi again during 2008. Grazie to Signora Forquet for making our New Years Eve and following days in Rome so enjoyable!!! Aguri!!!

The badroom was old and needs fixing
There where 2 people from Sri Lanka who where sleeping in the room next to ours, we coult heare almost every noise they make.

A typical italian appartment with a clean room, a good breakfast and a friendly house keeper.
Its located in walking distance of the Spanisch Stairs en al the famous buildings.
If we ever go back to Roma we're sure to go back there.

When we arrived at the address there was no indication which apartment to contact to get in and we had difficulty negottaiting the telephone system at first. Advice to call the number before arriving on the doorstep would have been helpful. Otherwise our arrival went smoothly.

The room was spacious and comfortable and very quiet. The only criticism would be the shower in the bathroom which had a faulty door- hard to close. Otherwise the room was very good.

The hostess was very gracious and helpful and her staff were too.

Mainly making the check-in procedure (i.e. phoning from the station before taking a taxi there)very clear would be important.

A great place to stay in the heart of Rome with easy access to the metro or for walking to most sites, and very quiet for the location. Also the coffee was superb!

The room was smaller than expected, but still fine. Bathroom could have a better shower.

Perfect location- all attractions wtihin walking distance. We did not need a bus or train. Breakfast was better than expected with juice, fruits, bread and a great italian expresso and hot milk.
Bed was fine- other furniture (table etc.) a bit outdated.
Good B&B to stay for some days to explore Rom, if you do not need more space.
