No problems in fact we were allowed to keep the accommodation up until our departure to the airport which was 6pm

You could not say enough about the benefits of the outside space... absolutley fantastic and so much of it 2 terraces yes 2 terraces with wonderful views of the eternal city. You felt on top of the world in this very clean comfortable penthouse apartment

The only issue we had was that the toilet
blocked & we reported it on the saturday & we
checked out on the sunday without it fixed.
However, we did receive a discount.
I think you should put a toaster in the
kitchen or have one available.

This was our second stay at the Residence Barbarini, and we think it is great! The appartments are roomy the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is very good.

TV/HiFi advertised didn't work ' a problem with the aerial'. Some of the plates/cups were missing or broken. Overall very clean,quiet with good bathroom and air conditioning.

Only the stated equipment of the apartment wasn't working (as mentioned). However, as a family it was good value for money in a good location, with great art works!

Check that TV/Hifi is repaired. Perhaps not a '5 Star' residence as Aust. rating.

The room we had was quite noisy as it was on the road, and there was building work that was really noisy in the building next door. This was a little difficult as I had 2 your children that needed to sleep during the day (hence why we booked an apartment).

We loved our stay in Rome and the Residence Barberini played an important part in it. It was FANTASTIC the way they organised cars, babysitting and restaurants. Could not have asked for more. Also great to have internet for guests and could leave baby strollers downstairs. Only issue was that apart from the main gentlman on reception who is EXCELLENT, the other more junior people that work there are not that helpful.

Would definately stay there again. Great location, perfect with the kids, help in organising everything and a very sweet babysitter. Expensive, but so is everything in central Rome.

Air conditionning was a little noisy. Was great to find out that instead of on terrace overlooking Rome there was two, one at each end of the suite.

Taxi drivers tend to know Hotel Barberini more than Residence Barberini. They are situated about 100 yards from one another.

Spacious accomodation in the heart of Touristic Rome with visits to main sites just a stone throw away. Views from the Terraces, standard of equipement and situation are definitly worth prices charged

We really enjoyed our stay at your accomodation. The staff were delightful with our children and we all enjoyed the art. The facilities were very good. i have mentioned how pleasrd we were to many of our friends who have asked and would have no hesitation in recommending residence Barberini.

It was great to arrive after a long trip and find a beautiful room and view of Rome. The receptionist showed us the room and its amenities.

The room was great. However, it was not clear from the web site that the penthouse did not have a kitchenette like the other rooms.

In Europe its hard to find spacious rooms. We generally have resigned ourselves to sleep 'on top' of each other, because the rooms are so amall. This place is ideal if you want some space between you and your traveling partners.

Check-in person was busy with workmen re-finishing the floor and we felt a nuisance. When getting to our room, it smelled of flooring chemicals and we asked for a different room. Attendant said we could ask for a new room the next day and I didn't feel he was especially helpful.
Same eve. we asked new attendant re: room change and he promptly put us in a new room, Ste. 9, which we LOVED and had great service after that (including the check-in attendant, who I think was distracted with the lobby work at time of check-in). Ste. 9 is wonderful and we loved all the great art!

If we had stayed in Ste. 8 I think we would have had a less nice time, but after moving to Ste. 9 were very happy!

Website is pretty accurate. Rooms were beautiful with high ceilings.
Not sure if you have it on website, but Bose TV's were very nice and free internet access in lobby. Free DVD's nice touch.
Linens were ironed and lovely.

A beautiful spacious apartment-type suite with very attractive and minimalist decor. Felt like a home and very secure. Funky modern art with a sense of humor and very clean interior. Will definitely stay here our next time in Rome.

The only problem was that as I booked late and email correspondence was not possible and I could not get a telephone number off the website.

Rooms were very clean and private. Bed in main bedroom was the most comfortable we slept in during our whole month away! However, the two single pull-outs and the roll-away were not up to standard. There was quite a bit of drilling going on in the next room which woke us up (but we just went sightseeing earlier, so no problem). We also loved all the artwork.

We will definately stay at Barberini again, and wouldn't hestitate to recommend it to our friends.
Unfortunately, the 'van' airport transfer was definately not big enough for 5 people and luggage, and we experienced a very uncomfortable (and unsafe) journey to the airport for 85 euros. Maybe a word to the company that does these transfers would be good, so that no-one has to have a nightmare journey like ours.

Very comfortable, clean and safe, in a great location to visit many of the wonderful sights of Rome. Lovely unusual artworks that make a wonderful contemporary statement.

Additional comments - the staff at the hotel were not proactive in assisting us during our stay. They seemed either unable or unwilling to assist. In addition, a number of areas were unsatisfactory. I understood I would have a computer in my room and this was not the case. The staff gave me access to a common computer but the mouse did not work and staff were unable to rectify this problem. The phone in my room was broken and the staff did not take action to fix it. I requested ice and was told the ice machine was broken - the staff member indicated that she would attempt to get ice from elsewhere but when I queried this 45min later nothing had been done and I was told no ice was available. Overall, the staff were not helpful and did not assist in making my stay an enjoyable one. The room itself was excellent.

I am the travel agent that booked Mr. Delphry.I just spoke with him and he loved the hotel.He said everyone was most helpful,the hotel was clean and the accomidations were perfect. My only wish is that you would pay travel agent commission.
