Very nice hotel in lovely residental neighborhood; found a little store on the corner during walk from Metro to hotel which had fresh milk and sandwiches for light snacks instead of going out again after a long day of sightseeing. Room had French doors opening onto patio which were charming. Rooms were much larger than most we stayed in and breakfast room was also large and cheerful with windows. Staff in breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. ... Located out of the noise and bustle of Rome; nice quiet area to return to after day of sightseeing and crowds of tourists.

This was a wonderful hotel. Everyone was so helpful in every way. The breakfast was delicious. They made many reservations for us from taxis to tours, the best service. ... I learned from people we met that our hotel was located in one of the nicest residential areas of Rome, Aventina Hill. ... It was smooth and quick and the hotel arranged for a car to take us to the airport. Everything was very smooth and efficient. ... They serve eggs for breakfast among a wonderful aray of other foods. ... It was charming, quiet, in a lovely neighborhood and the entire staff made us feel at home.

They had sent me an e-mail prior to our arrival offering to have a driver pick us up at the airport for a set amount. Since we were arriving at night after a very long day of traveling, it was a welcomed sight to have someone greet us and deliver us to the hotel. ... It is always difficult to judge the actual size of a room or terrace by the pictures, so we were very pleased with the results. Our room actually opened to our own private little terrace. ... Very effecient. they also made arrangements for a driver to take us back to the airport. ... The hotel appeared to have remodeled recently and everything was well kept. Perhaps more information for using the public transportation in the area. We actually didn't inquire because our daughter lives there and was extremely helpful. ... Our hotel was off the beaten path - very quiet, clean, up to date and nice size for rooms in Europe. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful. We visited in November so we were unable to have breakfast on their terrace - if in fact they do that in warmer weather.

Since I have gluten-intolerance, I was disappointed that the breakfast provisions were almost all for wheat-eaters. One morning there were boiled eggs, but not on the other four mornings. Some consideration of dietary differences would be appreciated (though I know that Italian bread is wonderful -- it is just not for everyone).

I did'nt use the voucher, because the travel plans were modified at the last minute, with a stay shorter than initially scheduled. However, this modification was handled with the the highest civility, and I could get a very reasonable arrangement ... excellent hotel, near the FAO, in a nice surrounding

A relief to get there and have a shower! ... A peaceful respite from the bustle of Rome's tourist sites - also easy to walk to most of the sights. ... A good place to stay when in Rome, peaceful and accessible with straightforward local parking - 3 Euro per day! Also accessible to lesser known areas like Testaccio as well as Sta Sabina up the hill.

very clean room but single room fairly small. ... If in Rome for work in the area (FAO), then good place to stay. Otherwise choose more central hotels.

The staff was very helpful in giving directions and making dinner reservations. ... There was a problem with my credit card and the staff was very accommodating and helpful in resolving the problem. ... A very nice hotel in a quiet part of Rome. A good place to get away from the crowds. The rooms were nice with private balconies overlooking the courtyard. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful in making our stay in Rome very peasurable. The only down side is the very small shower.

Due to shortage of rooms is was sent to a very small room that did not fulfil the description 'all rooms look out over the garden of the ancient convent....'. The next day I was moved to a room that complied with the expected standards. Therefore I se no reason to complain. ... See the remark under point 5. ... Room are quiet and clean but rather small. The hotel is very close to FAO and to a number of places of historical interest. Not all the rooms meet the description as given on the website and the publicity folder of the hotel. By and large good value for money.

Electrical rewiring was being done at the time of our stay - including in the room itself. ... Good location. However expensive for the services it actually offers.
