The web site list a rnage pf prices for each type of residence. i found out too late that these relate to the number of people staying. A 2 bederomm unit with 4 people is only 20 Euro dearer than a 1 bedroom with 4 people staying. these details should be better explained on the site

I would return again. Close to St Peters and to shops and restaurants as well as to transportation to Rome central.However, also very quiet, well managed, with very friendly service.

We arrived at 23:00 - 4 hours after the normal reception hours had ended - but the Aurelia had someone there to meet us and let us in. They also had a welcome letter waiting for us. We were very impressed with customer service.

The Aurelia staff, Paula and Ferdinand, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The apartment was bigger than we expected (no more beds, but more spacious), and the breakfasts were quite good. The rooftop terrace was a very pleasant place to start the day.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We rented a car at the airport for the first couple days of our stay. As I was leaving to run the car back to the airport (because we wouldn't need it for the rest of our stay), I ran into Paula (Aurelia staff). She was horrified that I planned to go all the way back to the airport just to return the car. She had me follow her back to reception, where she called Hertz and made arrangements for me to drop the car at the Borghese Gardens Hertz office for no extra charge to me. Since we were planning to go to the gardens to rent bikes that afternoon, it couldn't have been easier. Thanks Paula!

The Aurelia is a great place for a home base when staying in Rome! It's a short walk to St. Peter's and the Vatican and a short and easy bus ride to everywhere else. If it's late, and you're too tired to take a bus home, the Aurelia is just an 8 euro taxi ride from the Piazza Navona for a family of five - definetely a good deal! And if the location and facilites are very good - the friendly, helpful, competent staff are even better than that!

We had arranged a private transfer from the airport, which had been arranged by e-mail with the Aurelia. Everything went very smoothly and we were very pleased with the service.

Aurelia Residence arranged limoservice for us, and although our flight was late, the driver was waiting and gave excellent service.
Diana and Paula, in reception, were helpful and friendly.

Our 'Bellini' apartment was roomy, well appointed,and attractive. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. An ample and tasty breakfast, served on the roof terrace, with a lovely view and was a great start for the day.
The location was very convient for our needs.

We arrived at the airport at midnight and our driver was waiting for us as arranged. The night porter took us directly to our apartment where we found a welcome letter and an invitation to carry out formal check in the next morning. Most satisfactory as we were all very tired and able to go to bed immediately

I was very impressed with the apartment, location and in particular the very friendly and helpful staff. Our stay coincided with the funeral of John Paul 2nd, and although very busy the standard of service was excellent. I will recommend the Aurelia Residence to all my friends

We arrived ten hours late due to flight problems. The limo service was waiting at FCO, and we were accommodated by the night porter, who showed us our apt.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfasts on the roof.

One (and only) problem here. The limo service to take us to the train station did not show. Luckily,we were able to hail a taxi and made it just in time for our train.

We were 11 people staying at the Aurelia, origionally 13, so we took 3 apartments all on the same floor. 2 people could not come so there were 2 of us in one apartment, 5 in another and 4 in another. We all concurred that the apartments were spacious, well furnished and beautifully kept. We stayed over the New year period. The staff were delightful, not only with ourselves but with all guests.
The bus service into Rome city centre was very good and clear instructions were given by the staff.
A delight everey day to step out and see the dome of St Peters.
I would highly recommend these delightful apartments to anyone. I would return.

BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT IN A GREAT LOCATION. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN BETTER HAD THERE BEEN AIR CONDITIONING THROUGHOUT, AS IT WAS VERY HOT AT NIGHT WE HAD TO HAVE THE WINDOWS IN THE LOUNGE OPEN - THE NOISE FROM VIA AURELIA CAN DISRUPT LIGHT SLEEPERS. OUR DIGITAL BOX DID NOT WORK, WHICH WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. WE ARE AVID ATHLETICS FANS AND WANTED TO WATCH THE OLYMPIC FINALS. PAULA THE RECEPTIONIST HAS A VERY STRONG PERSONALITY, GENARO THE BREAKFAST WAITER WAS SUPERB - VERY KIND,ATTENTIVE AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB!

We have to note, that the noise of the railway in 30 meters from the residence was very! very! unpleasant and disturbing.
Because there was no any indication at your
web site and other descriptions to our knowledge.
If we had known these details, maybe we had changed our mind to stay in this accomodation.
The result: give all guests clearly indications to the railway for a better understanding and to beware a disappointment.

I think Aurelia Residence offered excellent service, and the staff in particular was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff also went out of their way in helping us with directions, booking tours, etc. All in all we were very impressed.

It was lovely, in a residential area of condos and all within a short walk to the metro and bus stops so it was easy to travel around Rome. Would defintely stay there again if I get back to Rome.

Our stay was over the Christmas holidays. There was no cleaning/maid service on 12/25 or 12/26 because of the holiday. This should be made clearer to customers at the time of booking.

The property was great. Our accommdations were comfortable, spacious, clean and very pleasant. And with a baby is was great; the apartment was safe and our baby had room to play. The staff was especially polite, helpful, accommodating and friendly.

We arrived late (around midnight) and our plane had been delayed over an hour. The hotel had arranged a pick up for us. We were worried our pick up may of left. However, when we arrived we were very pleased and relieved to see our pick up had waited for us. He was very polite and helpful and took us quickly to our hotel where the night porter took us up to our room. Overall we were very pleased with our arrival process.

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the property and location was as we had expected from the website.
The only downfall was the commuter train that goes by every so often and is directly behind the apartment. This made sleeping difficult at time.

The train was definately a negative aspect.
However, the staff was exceptional - the most friendly and helpful of many hotels I have stayed in. The one lady at the front desk (unfortunately I can not remember her name - shorter, dark curly hair) was outstanding as far as customer service. She stayed late one night to arrange a cab for us and had to work hard to get one. Always cheerful.
Also, the breakfast porter was helpful and made up a tray for us on our first day. Breakfasts were good and much appreciated.
Overall - very impressed with the staff!

Our appartment was situated at the road-side, so there was traffic passing by also at night, which was a disturbance of nightrest for some of us; further the showers were not that good. We burnt ourselves the first day and the water discharge was very bad.But on the whole we were quite content.

The young lady who greeted us didn't take into account our jet lag. She perhaps could've come back after a couple hours to show us all the details of the place.

There was a train going by every 15 minutes. You should tell people there is a train 40 meters from the room. We were told the train didn't run at night, but it did. It was hard to sleep.

The directions are awful!!!Tell people to get off their plane, get a train ticket at the tobbacco store and get on the Roma Termina. Go off the train and go straight down to the middle, main ticket area. Go out the building and right in front are all the bus lines. Get on (I believe) bus 64. You will see the Esso gas station. Go all the way up and Aurelia is on the left hand side. Although the Metro is not terrible it is absolutely filthy. The residence though is very nice. I would recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at Aurelia Residence from 1st May to 4th May with two friends and we found he service offered by the staff friendly and very helpful.The apartment was of a good standard but there was noise from the raod on one side and the railway on the other and I found it difficult to sleep on the first night. Because of the noise we felt the cost of our stay was high. The only other problem we had was that the apartment was a lot further from the Vatican that we thought and we needed a taxi in the evenings as the journey was too far when we needed a restaurant.
