There was no doorman to assist us carrying our luggage up the stairs. ... While the room was quite small, it was clean and neatly appointed..although somewhat Spartan by American standards. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would have preferred to have a shower curtain in the shower as opposed to a hand-held showere head. My experience was good and I would recommend this hotel to a budget conscious visitor. I have no negatives to avail aside form the lack of assistance with our luggage.

Great staff, great location. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel bartenders in the evening were absolutely the best. ... Clean and beautiful. Could have used a tad more space for clothes however. ... Desk Manager quick and helpful. ... Get downstairs early to get the english speaking newspapers as they seem to go quickly. ... A reall winner and a great value.

Very good value for money. Disappointed that the roof top reasaurant was not available, but would definately stay there again.

The desk was very busy and activity in the lobby and on the street was hectic. ... This hotel is overdue for renovation and does not deserve the four star rating. I was disappointed. ... Tired and over rated.

Would suggest thay you have tea/coffee making facilities in rooms - guests often like to realx with a cup before bedtime. ... Very comfortable room, good substantial breakfast, and very central - within walking distance of all places of interest.

Rooms were quite small. Elevator to our floor was not working so we had to go up some stairs to get to our floor from the floor below. ... Rome is very expensive ... Close to Vatican. Great view from the roof top. Nice breakfast. Small but very clean rooms.

We did not refer to the directions, as the Hotel had arranged for transportation from the airport. Very convenient! ... We were disappointed to find that the roof garden was closed for repairs, but we enjoyed the wonderful view from the dining room. In all other respects, the Hotel met or exceeded our expectations. ... A very charming hotel in an ideal location!

It was very difficult to find a place to park in order to unload our luggage and check in. ... Our stay at the Hotel Atlante Star was wonderful. The room was exceptional and the included breakfast was very good. I would definately recommend it to others. The rooftop deck had a beautiful view of Rome and a bar. ... The hotel was very accomodating about keeping our luggage for the entire day after we checked out and getting us taxis when we needed them. ... We stayed in a suite that included a separate shower and a spa tub that looked out over the city and St. Peter's Cathedral. The decor was absolutely beautiful, very traditional. The staff brought us chocolates after we checked in. ... It is rather pricey but the service and the accomodations are well worth it. The only negative was the traffic noise.

have many properties and large photo gallery to help in making your choice ... We had to change one of the rooms, the window could not be opened because of scaffolding in the way. I would have liked to have been told before not just put in the room and find out after. they did move us the following day. ... as with most only the suite rooms are shown on the web sight. I would definatly make sure you book a superior deluxe room or above catagory. The cafe was not open on the roof due to construction. When alls said The Atlante Star was a nice hotel, good location, and helpful staff. I would recomend this hotel. ... There are always some little problems. nothing major that wasn't fixed ... photo of room other than suite. Rooms facing street are extremly noisey, if your not acustomed to this you won't be able to sleep. ... you offered many details and photos of diferent properties, and was able to navigate well on your site. ... Having coffee on the roof garden with it's magnificant views is a great way to start of your day of city travels. An easy location to base yourself at. A nightcap with Aldo at the hotel bar was a great way to end the day

We would have prefered to have transfer from Ciampino Airport to the hotel, normal taxi was rather expensive (60,-- EUR)

The suite we booked was on the main street & the traffic was very very loud. There were no doors on the individual rooms separating the two. The bathroom shower was very outdated. My five year old daughter had to sleep in a baby's play pen. We would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it to friends.
On a good note the breakfast in the garden resturant was very good and the view was beautiful. (And we loved Rome).

The staff was OK, but the hotel rooms need mending. We first got a double room, that was small. As we stayed for 8 days we had 2 suitcases. The wardrobe was very small, impossible to put the clothes in. Therefor we took a much more expensive suite. It needed to be painted. One night water came into the bathroom from the floor above. ... The diningroom and the terrace could be very nice places if they were renewed. The dinner in the rstaurantis much too expensive.

Good service, good prices and professional follow-up with no major problems. ... Originally, Mrs. Rodriguez was placed in a single room NOT the single use of a double room as specifically requested and confirmed. This was changed by the staff at our request.
Noone was there to meet the first flight in our party at the airport. we had to call and then wait over an hour. ... ... Good value, prefessional and helpful (if a bit overworked staff) location very close to the Vatican, The restaurant was good with excellent views as promised. The rooms vary greatly in size and quality (as well as noise level)but overlal the hotel fars falls short of other 4 star properties in Rome and Italy in general.

Room was much smaller than pictured/expected. The jaccuzzi was just a switch on the bath. Thought it would be in the actual room next to the bed as pictured on website. Had requested a room with panormaic views, and a double room. Felt like this was a twin room - 2 Single beds which were later 'pushed' together on request!!! Meal was overpriced and not that tasty - undercoooked, nut chewy meat . . However the views were spectacular and the restaurant was furnished well.
