We couldn't have been given a better welcome. Marco was there to greet us and even gave us his mobile number in case we had any difficulty while in Rome. ... We felt that this was more than just a B&B. It compared favourably with hotels we have stayed at. ... On checking out we were permitted to leave our luggage which we collected just prior to leaving for the airport. ... Its location made it easy to visit all the major places of interest. ... As a 'Home from Home' We have so described it to a number of our friends as such. Some of them are planning to visit Rome and will stay at A Roma B&B.

When arriving to the property, I spoke with the owner by telephone and was told about the probelems he and his employee had encountered while trying to arrive at the property in time. His employee's being late and unable to speak any english was no problem to me, although it made it a little bit difficult to sort some things out. ... I am very happy and fully satisfied with the accommodation provided. When visiting Rome next time, I shall choose this property for my accommodation. ... The owner gave us a ride to the airport in a reasonable price, which was nice. ... Positive: the room's fridge was full of food supplies and the owner seems to provide for guests anything they might ask. ... A good and spacious accommodation in a central but yet quiet location. A great value for money.

A Roma B&B was excellent, particulary for families. Close to transport, restaraunts and the rooms were better then we expected. ... The rooms are self contained suites rather than rooms. ... themed suites that have been decorated by an owner who cares. Attention to detail is obvious everywhere. Not your usual hotel room.

Unfortunately the proprieter had double booked our room for the 1st night. However he had arranged for us to stay at another hotel within the same building at his expense, and we then moved into the room that we booked for the 2nd night. ... We did not need to check out as we had already paid the proprieter. We simply left the key in the room. ... None ... Very clean and comfortable. Ideally situated close to the centre. We would stay there again when we next visit Rome

YES...The web stated that this is an italian style breakfast & that if required you can have your breakfast delivered to your room on request... We had no option as the breakfast was in your room i.e. for you to sort yourself out..We were not happy at all with this as we where looking forward to wakening to a full italian breackfast then start our siteseeing plans... ... Nice, Clean however you have to fend for yourself when it comes to breakfast etc...We where give 2 sachets of coffeee to do us for 2 days...Not good enough, I would not recommend anyone to visit this B & B...We tried to have a shower the first morning & the water was very cold & therefore we where unable to have a shower...

The bed sheets were not changed. I had to sleep on top of the comforter because i could see the hairs of the people that had slept there before. ... The breakfast is a piece of bread with tea, which you have to prepare yourself in the room.

This B&B is a very convenient distance from the Termini train station. ... We LOVED A Roma B&B! The private terrace was a wonderful bonus for our family. We had a quiet, lovely garden in the middle of a huge city all to ourselves. ... The photographs cannot capture the true beauty of this B&B. The high arched ceilings, the adorable little kitchen, the custom tile in the bath are all things the photos cannot capture. We were absolutely thrilled with the quality, cleanliness and convenience of our accomodations. ... A Roma B&B is a small gem centally located to the mass transit lines. The Fiore room is perfect for a family of four, with bunks, a terrace and a small kitchen. We highly recommend this B&B!

We had to wait a few minutes (about 20) for the host to arrive. This was only in part to the fact that our flight was delayed. Overall every enjoyable. ... The host was very nice and helpful with regards to maps & things to do while in Venice. Overall highly recommended. ... It is in a building with at least three other hotels. Not a problem; however, not very common for people from the U.S. to expect. ... Very quaint and private with good access to all of Rome's attractions.

It would have been useful if you were told which floor to go to - it was not obvious. ... The kitchen facilities were quite basic - but when we asked for a kettle Marco provided this very quickly. I think it would be helpful if there was more storage in the kitchen. ... No instructions as to where to leave the key ... Details and cost of leaving luggage would be useful ... In the ancient city, within the city walls, close to the main railway station, near the metro, very comfortable, clean and friendly. Marco was an excellent guide.

We arrived a little early, that's why there was no receptionist there. She arrived right when she said she would be there. ... there was no check-out procedure. We were just told to leave our keys. ... You should make it more clear that each room has its own kitchen. I was very surprised by that when we arrived. ... It was a very quaint place with spacious rooms and lovely interior. Everything was very clean and the woman who checked us in was very helpful. She showed us everything on a map and even suggested a place to eat and told us where everyone would be watching the world cup game that night.

Accomodation was great. Marco the owner was fantastic. We got two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed but this was no problem. ... Aroma is not a traditional Bed and Breakfast as the owner does not live there, but this suited us and we had a great time.
The room itself is fantastic. I would recommend Aroma to anyone who just wants a beautiful room in which to escape Rome after a busy day in the city.
The rooms are in a block that has hotels and apartments. Not all of Rome is ancient ruins and terracotta tiles. ... The room was good value, but Rome is expensive. ... Aroma is more of a catered apartment as the owner/manager does not live on site.
The Owner is always contactable and is a great host. I would recommend Aroma without hesitation. ... Catered studio apartment near the Termini with great new facilities and a fantastic host.

Marco was there to greet me, he informed me of the local restaurants and saftey in the area, he also gave me his phone number shoud a problem arise. ... I enjoyed my stay. ... Peerhaps add that the Termini provides access to all of Rome, as well as all of Italy and Europe. That was a wonderful thing for me to know. ... Very basic but what else does one need when time spent in your hotel is a few hours a night to sleep. I was very content to stay there and would again.

There is no receptionist but owner of B&B met us at the airport and brought us to the property. He oriented us to the area so we knew how to find public transportation and get around-very helpful ... It was noisy in the mornings(@5:30) when trash was picked up in the courtyard below but otherwise wonderful ... A delightful spacious room. It was nice to have the kitchen area for more relaxing mornings. Convenient to gorcery stores and public transportation and an easy walk to most of the major sites in Rome

The rooms were a bit noisy but that was due mainly to the guests staying in the Roofs room ~ They came in later on at night let themselves into their room then proceeded to try our door and that of the other room as well.

Staying at A Roma B&B was one of the best B&B experiences we ever had. We are extremely satisfied. ... A Roma B&B has beautifully decorated modern rooms that are spacious and very functional. The bathrooms are modern and clean. The kitchenette contains everything that is needed for preparing a meal. The location is good and the rooms peaceful (windows towards the inner yard). The rooms have AC. There are several supermarkets close to the B&B. The owners are very nice and friendly.

We were met at the airport by the owner of the property. No reception desk is available at this B & B/apartment ... The owner, Marco, was very welcoming and generous with his provisions for breakfast in our apartment ... We let ourselves out left the keys and dropped the latch. We were given a key to retrieve our cases but not to the main apartment building door. When we returned for our cases this door was locked and we had to keep ringing other businesses who shared the building to come and open up. ... No staff available as this was an apartment although a cleaner had been in when we were out. Breakfast was left in our room and we paid the owner on arrival.See comments above on checking out. ... Very clean, generous provisions for breakfast. An apartment rather than a B & B and no staff on site. Owner very welcoming on arrival.

The breakfast was not an intercontinental one, but just some stuff in the kitchen and we had to do it on our own. The door of the shower could not be closed completely, so the water went out of the door each time we had a shower. ... We took a lot of time to find out the hotel, as it is situated on the 1st floor and the indication was not clear. When we arrived, there was a sheet of paper sticked on the door, telling us to call Marco. We had to use our mobile phone during 15 minutes. The phone calls we made to Marco cost a lot of money, and it was not our job to call him in order to get the key of the hotel. We never had breakfast at the hotel, as it was just disgusting. Furthermore, Marco was never at the hotel, he just told us that he was reachable on his mobile phone. The price was high comparing to the services of the hotel. We wil not recommand it to our friends. ... On the checking out day, Marco did not call us in order to ask if the staying was ok. We only saw him the first day, at the cheking in. His only business was to get his money ant that was all. It is just a pity! ... For the breakfast, there is only some packages of bread in the kitchen, as well as some butter and jam. You have to make tea and coffee on your own. There is no security system, apart from the fact that the door of the hotel is locked. ... Quiet place, nice colour, comfortable. I give 6.5 (on 10).
