We did feel very welcome. The people at the reception were very polite and friendly,and we will come back again this year for sure!!!

It is a very nice clean hotel not to big. The staff is very friendly and always ready to please you and to make you feel special. It is near the station termini. Easy to go were ever you like.. We have been there before a few years ago and we will come back..

Friendly, correct, polite, and we did ask the receptionist to call a taxi for us to bring us to the airport. It was all orginised and planned very well. The taxi was on time.. We did have a great time at the Ariston Hotel in Rome..

That it is very nice to have a drink or cocktail or what ever you like at the hotel bar. The sofa is great...to sit on and it is a pleasure to relax after a long day/walk in Rome and before your dinner....

Though we arrived in the morning, before check in, we were able to leave our luggage so we could get on with our vaccation and check in later. Big convenience! Staff was very polite and well spoken.

This probably stems more from a difference between Roman hotels and American hotels, but the room was a little smaller than I expected (but then again, so were other hotels in the area) The room was very nice however, quiet and clean, very stylish.

The site said it was convenient to the Termini station, and it certainly was! Only one block away, which made dragging our luggage there way easier.

First night we had a room facing the street (Room 246). I couldn't sleep because of the noise, the windows were not sound proof. The next morning we got another room (412) towards the backyard, absolutely quiet - just perfect.

Ask for a room NOT on the street side and you will have the perfect accomodation. Quiet rooms, newly renovated. Spacious bathroom, very clean. Breakfast buffet better than everything you ever expect in Italy.

It was the first time to visit Rome for me.
People advised me that Rome was beautiful but not safe. The Hotel Ariston was very relaiable.
Whenever I asked them how to get some places, they taught me very kindly even a tabacci shop to get a bus ticket.
I had a plan to see a friend of mine who lived near Rome. However, she couldn't come to Rome during my stay. So I asked them to leave a sourvenir for her at my chcking-out. After a week I got a thank you letter from her.
My impression of Rome is very good. I'm quite sure that their hospitality was one of the reason.
I would likd to stay there when I can come back.

Since we arrived around 11 a.m. from the airport, it was appreciated that they had a room ready for us to move into.

The hotel was in a good location in relation to being close to tour buses and the main train station. We do think that they should have explained to us that we paid an extra 6 euros each for going on a Rome tour bus. Our friends just paid the 13 euros each (the price of the tour). We paid 19 euro each in total. I guess it's because we asked about it at the desk and they gave us a voucher before we left the hotel.

Very modern interior design and bright lime green colour in the room. Bar/Lounge furniture not the most comfortable to sit or relax in.
The breakfast was very good with a good selection on the buffet table and a good selection of fruit and juices.

The girls at the reception desk were wonderful. Helpful, cheerful, and helped with directions where we were going and getting cabs (VANS) for us -- 4 people, lots of luggage. The hall porter stored our bags for us and helped us a lot also.

A little out of the way -- we did not know the location of the rail station, and we did not use the rail line -- we used cabs, so for us, being so close to the station was not a plus -- but not a minus either.

The entrance and Ground floor were immaculate and could not fault. I thought the upstairs corridors were a bit tired particularly the carpet.

A better thasn usual hotel, away from the main area of Rome, but in an area which is not friendly in the street and sometimes at night even a bit frightening. We wanted to be near the Station and it completely satisfied my wants. I think I would have to say the hotel, staff, breakfast exceeded my expectations.

It was comfortable, good value for money and ideally placed for a visit to Rome if you don't want to walk everywhere (so close to the train station). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative would be that it's fairly quiet and the bar closes as 11pm, that could just be because it was slighly out of season.

Great hotel for staying near Termini (main train and bus station), without compromising peace and quiet. A quality establishment where the staff were, without exception, friendly and polite. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good 4-star hotel at a reasonable price right in the middle of Rome.

Everything was very nice. Staff was attentive and businesslike, but not warm and friendly. For example, they did not look up and greet us when we came back to the hotel in the evening. If we wanted them to say 'good evening' we had to initiate it.
The only 'amenity' that was not available to us was the computer. We asked to get on the internet one evening, but were told that there was a problem with the connection.

The air conditioning did not seem to work but it may have been too early in the season and the hotel did not have it set up to function. We did not mention it to the staff since it was not that hot.
The room was dark (giving off onto a stairwell). This is due to the construction of the building and is therefore unavoidable. The room itself was beautiful, clean and spacious. The maid service was excellent.

The room was not ready, eventhought we called from the Port and they knew we were on the way. With only one night in Rome the wait of 20 minutes was not appreciated. Althought the Concirge apologized and offer us coffee while waiting we needed every minute in Rome.

We asked for Air Conditioned included and it was confirmed that we would get air conditioning in our room, but when we arrived and noticed how hot the room was and requested the AC to be checked their answer is that at this time of the year they offer no Air Conditioning. I rather would have paid 10 more Euros and had the air available. This was disapointing and there was no solution offered by the Hotel.
Otherwise the Hotel Room is very nice, the bathroom is excelent, the staff nice and friendly and the breakfast not bad.

Everything was possitive except that we had to wait a few minutes for the room to be ready, the room is interior so it has very little natural light and that the AC that was offered it is not available at certain times of the year. Otherwise it seserves the 4 stars.

Location wise is close to Termini but not the nicest area but a great value with close transportation to anywhere. Great for a one night stay at a very reasonable price in a nice Hotel. Just confirm the AC is working before you reserve. This was a big dissapointment for us and it almost spoiled the stayed.

We did not find the breakfast up to what one would expect. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and all spoke english to us.
Never having been to Rome, we did not realize that the downtown area, although, very accessible to the train and subway station, was somewhat dirty and not the best part of Rome. The hotel itself was very good in our opinion and the staff helped make it so. We asked for a wake up call the morning of departure and to have a cab to the airport: Both were arranged for by the staff and when we came to the lobby at 6:15 AM(15 minutes early) the cab driver was waiting and the cost was as quoted to us by the hotel staff(55E). A very good hotel to stay at in the downtown area.

The room was extremely overheated. The hair dryer in the bathroom was demaged, the room was very dark (colours in the room, few daylight. No glasses were available at the minibar. Although we informed the reception about the technical problems nothing happend during our stay.

I got a twin room, when I expect and booked a double. The room wasn't as a good as a had expected generally, especially after looking at the published photos on the site

The bathroom was a bit old fashioned, we had to get someone to look at the shower as there was no enough water pressure at times for the water to come out.
The entrance hall was lovely and breakfast was also good.
