By Train
The nearest railway station is Roma Termini, which is only 15 minutes from Arco del Lauro. Take bus no. H and stop after the bridge (you may have to wait for the bus for a long time: a taxi from there will cost approximately 15 euros). Walk ahead till the cinema "Reale", cross the street and make a left turn before the cinema. 100 meters ahead there is "piscinula square". Make another right turn just before the square and go up the hill. Arco del Lauro is on your left before the arch.
By Plane:
- from Airport Fiumicino take a train towards rome and get off at trastevere station (20 min.). From there take tram no. 8 and stop before the bridge (more o less 5 bus stops). Walk back towards the cinema "reale" and turn left before the cinema. 100 meters ahead there is "piscinula square". Make another right turn just before the square and go up the hill. Arco del Lauro is on your left before the arch.
- from Airport Ciampino take a bus towards Ciampino station and from there a train to Termini station or a bus towards Termini station in Rome. |
