we were in a Panic about the hire car but when my wife saw the entrance to the hotel she nearly walked out ... It was a shock entering the hotel and the lift was an eye opener, but the reception was helpful. The room was small and required a bit of manipulation to get the aircon working . which incidentally did over run one night and flood the floor and some of our books and clothes. On the whole the room was very clean, but there was no Satelite TV only local. Fine for the F1 because of Ferrari .
... There was no mention (or I missed it ) of the 3% additional charge if you pay by card.

No info on Rome or details re the hotel were offered ... Hotel smelt bad - as though the sewage pipes were blocked. Mentioned to evening receptionist but there were no other rooms available. He was going to get us moved the next morning. Nobody approached us about the issue in the morning and we couldn't be bothered bringing it up again ... Ok but would advise searching for better deals

Great location, within 2 minutes of the station, simple breakfast but satisfactory. A person on reception 24hrs per day, for security! Rooms were just what was needed! Most staff English speeking. ... Good service for the price ... A helpful hotel in a great location, secure and comfortable. very good value for money.

The lift did not work the first 2 days we were there but they did get it fixed. It was important that the hotel had a lift as a memeber of my party has trouble walking up steps. ... There was a problem with the phone line and the gentleman wanted me to go withdraw currency from a cash machine to pay the bill. Because of limits on the withdrawals this was not possible. It took almost an hour to get it straightened out. I was leaving early the next morning and would have prefered to be in bed instead of waiting while the attendant figured out how to manually process a charge card sale. ... I typical European hotel room in size. That the bed sheets were changed and the beds made daily. It was a clean comfortable room and very quiet.

The Plan in the internet offer could be better.
... Te rooms are clean and very nice arranged. Maybe the bath equipment should be modernise. The air conditioner was malfunction. The breakfast is to small, only croissonts an marmelade. ... The TV Channels are only in italian. Intruction for air conditioner is missing
... A nice little Hotel in the near of the Main Train Station. Not luxurious, but clean and with polite staff. With typical italian equipment and city noise by open windows. Not really disturbing. For an small trip to rom, one of best solutions with good proportion of service and price.

The rooms were not sounproof; there were no hairdryers in the bathrooms (website), the images of the bathroom promised more. The reception/lounge was better than at the images! We didn't like the plastic(!) plates and cups for the orangejus at breakfast. ... We were kindly asked if it was possible for us te pay cash, because otherwise (creditcard) the owner had to wait a longtime before he should receive his money. Fullfilling this wish we got a discount of 3%. ... Neg:The promise that the rooms are soundproof is not true. In one of our rooms there was hardly any daylight. Pos:The (our) rooms are very spacious, the beds very good. Towels are changed every day.The staff very kind. 24-hours reception ... An unexpected friendly hotel behind a very simpel facade. Not to be judged from the outside. Good enough if you need no more than a good bed, a good working shower and a reasonable breakfast. Very central location.

The hotel was right by Roma Termini, as promised. The receptionist was very nice and polite, and gave me a different room then planned so that I shouldn't have to cary my heavy luggage up the stairs. ... The room was lovely, nice and clean with a big, comfortable bed and a big, nice bathroom. Much better than I expected :-) ... I can't think of any detail, but my room was of a higher standard than I'd expected from the web site. The bathroom was large and of high standard, much higher than I expect of a 2 stars hotel. ... I've already told friends about how much I appreciated Hotel Acquarium, and I'll defenitely stay there the next time i visit Rome ( - the owner/receptionist has already promised me a room with a lovely view of the eternal city...)

Everybody was speaking english,was everything in the best order,and all of our wishes were the m,ost important thing to complite. Thank You again ... We could go back home any time during the night,the porter was always polite,and joking with us!Tghey halped us,to find the best dietrction to all part of the city! ... Was great,the room was big enough always clean and ordinary!Breakfast was enough! Cappucino was tutto!

We found the hotel very central and the staff very courtous and friendly especially Edwardo and Ugo. They were very helpful and were eager to try and answer all our queries. ... The air conditioning was not as good as we expected especially in the bedroom. It seemed to have very little effect.We hope to return again some day in the future and would recommend your hotel to our friends

Everything was conform web site. ... A very nice Hotel nearby the central station of Rome. We had a good room, very clean and very very (twice) nice people in the hotel, receptionist (helpfull), cleaning, for breakfast. It was more than we had expected.

A map would have been more useful, with all street names from Termini. ... For the price we paid we were more than happy. It was excellent value for such a central location. ... The receptionist was happy to check up out before 7am as we had an early flight. He was efficient and polite and even offered us some breakfast to take for our journey. ... If you advertise that check in is from noon then the rooms must be ready - ours was not and we had been travelling all night so this was a disappointment - staff were polite though and allowed us to leave our luggage. ... Excellent location, value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Unique, charming decor.

The receptionist didn't speak English at all. ... We had two double rooms and one quadruple room for our group. The quadruple room and the other double room were ok but the other double room was very small.

The heating in the rooms were not functioning all day. ... Adequate for a cheap holiday, don't expect too much comfort. Rooms somewhat gloomy.
