No receptionist present at arrival but received instructions by phone.
Via Mura Aurelia was one way road and entrence very difficult to find. Apartment was good, and on a location just ideal for our purpose.

Unfortunately the sink in the bathroom was blocked, causing flooding. I reported it on Tuesday, but it was only being fixed on Saturday, when we left.
We were happy to bring our dogs along.

Better description of access to the premises, specially in Rome, where roadsigns are disastrous all over the country, particularly if you arrive by car. Give small map.

Studio good for 2 people, perhaps with a small child. Good access to the Vatican. Busstops nearby. Well equipped for even a stay longer than just a week. Room was very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment on
Via Ottaviano! It was so comfortable and we
have no complaints. Pascal, the gentleman
who met us when we arrived, was very polite
and accomodating. Even Valerie, the person
who responds to e-mails, is very prompt and
helpful. Thank you again to all!

We were very pleased with the efficiency and organization of Worldby in coordination with Appartis. We were greeted without delay to our apartment which was in a wonderful location. The Appartis pamphlet was very helpful for locating stores within the area.

I think the details about Appartis were excellent. You could include local shops (ie. grocery, pharmacy, shops) if you wanted to include more detail. The area was very convenient.

I would definately stay here again. We enjoyed the privacy of renting an apartment as opposed to a hotel. The area was great for so many reason. Everything you needed was within walking distance and it was close the subway.

I had to call and inform someone to meet us.
Fortunately, this was possible because I had hired a car service and had them call. Had I had to do this on my own, it would have been an issue - buying the phone card and all. Furthermore, the number for Valérie PELTIER (3481438784), my main contact for Appartis, was not working; as per the driver.

no one was there, nor did I expect anyone, for the check-out; as explained to me at check-in.
At the time of this writing, I have requested a final invoice and have not received one. Therefore I can only estimate that I was charged more than agreed. I will have to wait for the next cc statement to verify the euro amount.

I feel most of what is represented in the Appartis web pages is not accurate.

Borgo Vittorio, 91, in the Vatican area, was rented from Appartis thru RomeBy thru WorldBy.
I highly recommend you DO NOT rent this apartment.
AND I would seriously question the creditability of their other offerings.
Most of what is stated in the advertising is not true or was not in satisfactory working order.
Examples:
'XIXth century palace'
Palace? I don't think so. Maybe the maids quarters.
'from the palace’s terrace, just above the flat which you can freely access' Maybe if we had the key to the door.
'TV'
Yes, but with no reception.
'air conditioning'
Not that we needed it, but an evaporative cooler in the bedroom only is not; in my book anyway.
'fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine'
Dishwasher was not working and note there is not a dryer - and since we did not have access to the terrace, we had to hang clothes in the apt.
Facts about their 'FAQs'
'Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
The apartments are quiet, cosy and charming.'
As for the neighborhood, the moped riders seem to have discovered it as some sort of short cut. So you can expect, as we did, to hear them all night.
Furthermore, because there is a bar nearby, when they close you will have to put up with the intoxicated patrons loud conversation starting about 1 a.m. until they finally disperse.
'Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite TV)? There is a TV but not satellite.'
TV, yes, but with no reception at all.
'Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments? Telephone with ADSL connection.'

In addition:
The shower was real flakey in that the hot and/or cold would go away without warning or reason.
The apt was generally clean, however, there was an enormous collection of dust under the beds that would get stirred up whenever you were doing anything around them like making the bed or running a fan.
Now, generally speaking, I rented cheap and expected cheap. But as my wife stated 'this is so far below cheap that it is just above camping.'
Good things:
Yes, it is a great location to stage your activities from – but find something else in this area.

TV was out of order.
No hot water.
I don't think anyone has checked this apartment for a long time.
I called and asked for help to fix our problems but nothing was done.
