From North of Rome by car:
As the property is situated in a restricted traffic area, our guest are kindly requested to inform the concierge upon arrival with own car.
From the GRA Grande Raccordo Anulare (large ring road) take Via Salaria towards the centre, go straight on along Via Pinciana to reach Porta Pinciana and get into Via Veneto. Arrived at Piazza Barberini take Via Quattro Fontane, make a right turn at the traffic lights to Via del Quirinale and follow always ahead along Via 24 maggio. Once to the traffic lights turn to Via Quattro Novembre, cross Piazza venezia an head straight on down Via del Plebiscito. Once in Largo di Torre Argentina turn the first on Via di Torre Argentina and when you arriva just off the Pantheon, turn on the left, you'll find via della Palombella.
From South of Rome by car:
From the GRA take Via Appia towards the centre and follow it all up to Piazzale Appio, head straight on along Via Emanuele Filiberto. Take the second left to Viale Manzoni ad follow ahead along via Labicana. Arrived at Via del Colosseo, take Via Nicola Salvi, go right down along Via degli Annibaldi, once you reach the traffic lights turn left on Via Cavour follow it all an turn right to via dei Fori Imperiali to get to Piazza Venezia. From Piazza Venezia go straight on along Via del Plebiscito. Once you meet Largo di Torre Argentina turn first street right on Via di Torre Argentina and then when you arriva just offe the Pantheon, you turn on the left and you'll find via dela Palombella.
When you arrive at Termini station:
- on foot you arrive to piazza dei Cinquecento
- you take the bus express n° 40 (p.zza Pia/Castel S.Angelo) and after 4 bus stop, you get off at largo Argentina
- from Termini you can take also the lines 62 or 46 or 64
- when you arrive to largo Argentina, you, on foot, turn on the right, and you walk along via di Torre Argentina for 2 minutes, and when you arrive just off the Pantheon, you turn on the left, so you're arrived to via della Palombella
From Leonardo da Vinci Aeroport (Fiumicino) by car:
Just outside the airport, take the Fiumicino-Roma higway, exit at Magliana-Centro and go straight on the end of Via della Magliana. Once at Piazza Meucci turn left and follow all Via Olderisi da Gubbio to reach Piazzale della Radio. Form Piazzale della Radio rutn left on Viale Marconi, immediately after crossing under the railway bridge turn left on Viale Trastevere and follow it all until the end. After having crossed Garibaldi's bridge head straight on along Via Arenula, Largo di Torre Argentina, and Via delle Botteghe Oscure. At the end of Via delle Botteghe Oscure turn left to Via degli Astalli and then left to Via del Plebiscito. Once returned to Largo di Torre Argentina turn the first street right on Via di Torre Argentina and then when you arrive just off the Pantheon, you turn on the left and you arrive to via della Palombella.
From Leonardo da Vinci Aeroport (Fiumicino) by train:
From the airport it is possible to take the direct train Leonardo Express at the Terminal A station direction Central Station Termini. Alternatively it is possible to take the main train towards Trastevere and get off at Stazione Trastevere, then take the tramway n. 8 direction Largo di Torre Argentina (3 minutes on foot from the apartment).
The apartment "la Rotonda, is very close from the most important sights of the city:
- with a short walk or taking the line 46 from largo Argentina
with few bus stops you arrive at piazza San Pietro
- at 150 mt from the apartment you find piazza Navona
- from the terrace of the apartment you can see the dome of
Pantheon.
- on foot, you arrive to fontana di Trevi by the pedestrian precint from piazza del Pantheon.
- from largo Argentina you can take the bus 87 and with few bus stop you arrive at the Colosseo.
Also in the pedestrian precint around the apartment you'll find pictorersque sights like piazza Campo dè Fiori, piazza Farnese o Trastevere. |
