We loved the room, and when we go back to Rome, we definately want the same hotel! ... unfortunately we had to go outside to go to a ATM, cause we could only pay by cash or creditcard. The Elevator is extremely small. You can not fit 2 people in it with luggage. We needed to go down in 2 trips. The shower was also extremely small. Compared to the other places I stayed in Italy, this was the smallest. No room to move in the shower. ... Nice, but very small accomidations. Not worth the money.

Antica Roma is great property, I couldn't imagine a better location. However it was advertized as a room with 3 beds, one bed was a cot, not a bed. With that exception I wouldn't hesitate to stay their again. ... Antica Roma is a charming hotel located minutes within walking distance of the Trevi and Spanish Steps. Very Clean Hotel, Helpful Staff, and a great value. This was my third time staying at the hotel, and it will by my first choice next time too.

We stayed in a suite with my mother and my partner, which was excellent. The only complaint is that they did not have an iron, which is a basic requirement and my partner had to wear creased shirts all weekend. ... No iron ... Very good location. great suite if you'd like two rooms together, though not sure about rest of rooms. Not flash but good with decent breakfast.

WE decided to expereince the metro, big mistake. It was closed at 9.30pm. So takea taxi or a bus to the centre as recommended! ... My freinds and I stayed in the 'penthouse' apartment which was fantastic for our stay. Very quiet for us and for our neighbours. Our balcony overlooking the busy road was a bonus. The rooms had air conditioning so we could close the windows at night to block out the noise. Perfect location. Great place to stay. ... Great hotel in perfect location ideal for our girls week end away. Would definately stay here any time I visit Rome. ... Fantastic location. Good place to stay.

Total knightmare at the airport waiting for a taxi. No deffinate que and people squabbaling over every taxi. Hotel did say they could book one for our arrival. Which we utilised on depature. 20 euros extra but worth it.
... The location was ideal, if not perfect for a visit to rome. It had a real 'Italian' feel to it and the rooms were perfect. We were travelling with another couple and the hotel had booked us in ajoining rooms which shared a balcony. This was perfect and was a very nice touch by the hotel. Things like that make the difference. 10/10 for me and I'd deffinately go back.
... It is fair value for money but Rome hotels are very expensive so in that respect it was a bargain. ... if you stay in Rome stay there. Very central. Easy walking distance to everything. Vatican is slightly farther away but you can't be close to everything. Perfect.

I was expecting a double bed and a single bed in the room rather than 3 singles. ... The room was fine except for the smell of drains from the bathroom. ... Very ornately decorated, very clean but unfortunately a bit smelly in the bathroom. Some very helpful staff, but some that could have smiled a bit more. Fairly good breakfasts especially if you have a sweet tooth. Very good location for reaching all the sites. There was very good security. I would definitely stay there again.

There was a mixup by the receptionist between two orders; We got a room with much lower 'original' rate than was reserved for us from the management. This could not be changed, - but we did not get any corresponding reduction ... ... We have noe problems with recommending this property to couples seeking a quiet, stylish hotell right in the dead center of Rome. We would absolutely stay there another time! ... It is very close to Trevi, Spanish Steps and the Corso ... Super! Stay at Antica Roma and enjoy Rome!

the staff was very helpful and polite ... We stayed at the Antica in mid-october and found the hotel to be quite charming and convenient. We stayed at several hotels during this trip and rated this one as highest in terms of breakfast, room comfort, and location. The rooms themselves were actually so guady and (dare i say ugly) they crossed the threshold from guache to charming. We also found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Residence is in the very heart of Rome, near to every touristic places, all are within a 20 minutes walk. This is the biggest advantage of the hotel. The room was OK (however with the additional bed for our child it was a little narrow, the bathroom is also nice. Only the breakfast was bad but it is quite common in the Italian hotels. (the coffee was horrible and milk made from milk powder....)But there are plenty of 'bars' nearby where You can have Your breakfast very cheap (tramezzini or other sandwiches and excellent capuccino), so this is no problem. The staff was helpfull and speaking good English.

We were very happy with our stay - the staff were all extremely helpful - the last day we had trouble booking a taxi to take us to the station - so the owner of the hotel kindly took us in his own car. We also left something behind at the hotel and the staff were extremely helpful in forwarding it to us. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. ... Extremely convenient location. Staff very helpful. Breakfasts very good. Hotel room and facilities very nice and spotlessly clean. We had the family suite which accommodated five people - very comfortable. Our room had no outlook - but this didn't worry us and was extremely quiet.

Very little street signage for Hotel but taxi driver knew it. ... I believe the site mentioned a 'sitting room' as part of the suite - this turned out to be outside the suite and shared by the people dining in the breakfast room right outside our door. However, we adapted and appreciated the extra bathroom that is part of that sitting room. I did expect the suite to be bigger than it was, from the description. Location was very central and the double/triple pane glass was fabulous at keeping the street sounds outside. Note: inconvenient closets, non-existent drawers. ... see No. 10 ... Walls and cabinets in heavy brocade fabric. Inconvenient closets/ non-existent drawers. Good location. Good street noise control.

Very pleasant stay. Enjoyed having the top floor suite as it is the only room on that floor. Breakfast was pleasant. ... Since the top floor suite is the only room on that floor, we had access to the additional living room and bathroom on that floor. It was a nice place to hang out after a long day of walking around. The only thing that could be improved is that the balcony was not in usable condition. ... Pleasant and comfortable stay. Nicely maintained and charming hotel.

While it might not sway people one way or the other, I think it should be noted that the only way in/out of the property is via a button that has to be pushed by the person at the front desk. We arrived back at the hotel one evening and had to stand outside for two minutes waiting for the person to return to the front desk from wherever they were to let us in. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal, but an annoyance at the time. ... Centrally located, a great value for the money. Neither luxurious nor budget, but just right for how much we paid.

The room was ok and adequate in size. The problem was the foul smell of the room. It seems there was a dead rat inside the walls because it had that type of smell. When we arrive at night the maid left the window open in order to get the smell out. If not for this, I would have all positive things to say about the hotel ... Staff was good and were very helpful in getting transportation to the airport and also directing me of how to get to some points of interests. ... Everything needed was on the web site ... I would probably recomend it to a friend. Like stated, all was fine except for the foul smell in the room.
