The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay, which was only two nights. The only negative was the internet - they said it was operable but we could not get a connection, which was frustrating as a travelling journalist. They also tried to charge us for internet use and argued when we told them that we had no connection and that they had even sent someone up to check it and agreed that it didn't work. Despite this, I would stay there again. It was a very minor hiccup during an otherwise wonderful stay. ... It's a fabulous location, walking distance from the main train station - don't take a cab (like we did) as it will cost you 20 euro for a less-than-10 minute walk which will teach us for not looking at the map! Close to all the major attractions Rome has to offer. The bathroom was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. ... Except for the internet hiccup, check out was smooth. ... The room was a little hot, as the airconditioner, while it did work, was not overly effective. But opening a window solved the problem. ... Great value for money, very helpful and freindly staff and ideal location.

A small problem at check in was caused by a mix up with a customer with a similar name to ours and causing our booking to be cancelled. The problem was solved and we got a better room than was originally booked for the same price. We were happy with the outcome. ... Hotel Andreotti was recommended to us by our son and daughter-in-law who stayed there in March and enjoyed the atmosphere. We also enjoy to stay in that style of hotel.

Very warmly greeted and made to feel like we were important guests. ... Wonderful interior, clean, safe, very well decorated. All employees were super helpful and friendly. It was sad to leave because it was such a nice experience. By the way, the breakfast was amazing. Felt very safe, felt like our belongings were safe and it was a great central area to explore the rest of Rome. The Termini area is not as bad as I'd read..it's very central, you're 5 minutes from the train and then 5 minutes to anywhere in town for food, entertainment, etc. ... Was sad to leave. The person who checked us out told us to come back and stay again. Hopefully we will. ... I think the location is absolutely perfect. I think it's very safe, warm, friendly. The breakfast is amazing compared to other breakfasts I've had at other hotels. The staff get to know you and keep a watchful eye on everything and are always there to help. AND they all speak very good English and seem to understand the needs of travelers and tourists. ... I would say that we found the best place in Rome to stay during our vacation. It was classic, not too modern...a great value and felt like home while we were on the road and all of our needs were met or exceeded. THANKS ANDREOTTI HOTEL! EVERY employee we dealt with was friendly, courteous and helpful. Also very engaging.

We received a welcoming and efficient arrival experience, despite it being at 1am. ... The air conditioning not working, but as far as I was concerned that was fine as I don't use it anyway. My husband would have liked it to be working - so in the end it saved us some disagreements!! ... Very helpful and accommodating. An offer was made to look after our cases after check out if required. ... There is some street noise, but I feel this is only to be accepted in a city centre hotel. The staff are very obliging, friendly and speak excellent English. ... I would recommend this hotel to friends. I have stayed there on three occasions now.
It is convenient for an arrival at the Termini Station following transfer from the airport. It is not far to walk to all the popular tourist areas.
The area feels safe.
There is a good variety of items for breakfast - excellent.

The reception clerk was friendly, professional and helpful ... The food variety at the breakfast buffet was exceptionally good. ... There are some very interesting shopsand a very well-run neighbourhood market in the vicinity of the hotel. ... The hotel has all the amenities a foreign visitor expects; however, it managed to retain a very Italian cachet.

Everything was in order. Receptionist was a little tired and not as friendly as the daytime receptionist.
Taxi's are a real Tourist trap in Rome. ... Breakfeast great.
Rooms really very good (for the rate).
The Website is very accurate.
Only small complaint about Andreotti - smell of smoke in the reception and main stairway. But it is Europe, so no problems. ... No - Website is really first rate.
WorldBy.com is by far the best hotel internet site I have seen (I travel regularly and have been stung by abd websites before). I have also used www.veniceby.com, and would use WorldBy.com for every other city if covered everywhere else in the world. ... Great value for money. The rooms and bathroom are really good. Breakeast is excellent. All up excellent 3 star. Only negative comment is the location - a bit out of the way. But only a little bit, and anyone who reads the map knows where they will be situated.

I expected a larger room but it wasn't a concern since I spent little time in my room. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and was clean and neat5. ... The map should indicate the points of the compass, i.e. North - South to better enable guests to find the hotel. ... I received goods and services as expected. ... - well located, friendly staff, clean and well kept

The room that we were given was at the front of the hotel and there was a bar a few doors down 'The Julius Caesar' which was open late and very busy and noisy. As the weather was very good during our stay the room was hot. The hotel had the heating on still and told us that we not be able to use the air conditioning in our room as it was not the right time of year. Therefore we were forced to sleep with the window open and the noise from the bar kept us awake until 2am. Therefore we were not happy with the room that we received nor the fact that we could not use the air conditioning. ... A nice little hotel and very central and convenient for tourists but noisy if you get a room at the front.

The toilet was stinking and the shower gave very little water, I understand that these are normal problems in Rome ... Nice, but rather modest hotel in the center of Rome, peaceful, nice breakfast room. Hotel personnel very helpful. Rather good value for money.

I think the best aspect of my experience was the ability to search for and reserve a room on the well-organized WorldBy.com website - this was very helpful. ... The room was clean and private. However, it was quite small, even by Rome standards.
