 Trastevere, the dense area across the river from the rest of the city, is considered by many to be Rome's most authentic neighbourhood, teeming with street life and restaurants and overflowing with local colour. Just to the north of Trastevere is the medieval Borgo neighbourhood, characterised by the powerful presence of the Vatican City and Castel S. Angelo. Both areas are ideal for those who want their stay in Rome to have more of a local flavour. |
 Ancient Trastevere B&B is adorned with frescoes, ceiling with magnificent visible beams and antique furniture. Available to our guests is a suite with private bathroom which can sleep up to 3 persons. The suite has a large living area on two floors, with a fireplace, frescoes on the wall in the hallway, beaded wooden ceilings and antique furniture. |
 The suite has a wonderful view on the garden of Villa Farnesina, a magnificent suburban residence built in the 16th century for Agostino Chigi, the banker of the popes. In his garden he used to entertain cardinals, artists and men of letters. Inside the villa are paintings by the great Raffaello Sanzio. |
