I felt like we were being welcomed home. It was a wonderful arrival and Signora Vita was so gracious and helpful throughout our stay. I really felt like we were old friends.

The villa was lovely. The grounds were beautiful. It was like an oasis in Rome. Pool and palm trees. So peaceful inside those walls. The dogs were fierce looking but so sweet and friendly. Having a very large dog myself, they made me feel at home, too. The grounds and villa was all spotlessly clean. Very well maintained. We felt privileged to be in Signora Vita's home.

Signora Vita arranged for us to be picked up by a professional to take us to the airport. It was the same service that picked us up on arrival. Very satistactory.

It was in a neighborhood away from the standard tourist areas in Rome. We ate a number of wonderful meals at a delightful family run restaurant just down the street. Having lived in Rome more than 20 years ago I was hoping to recapture some of that ambiance and I did. Signora Vita really cares about her residents. Breakfast even included homemade yogurt. It only has three bedrooms all with baths. I found this delightful. We occupied two of those rooms and became friends with a nice British couple who stayed in the third room. It was fun to share stories. I really felt like I was family and found it difficult to leave.

I have already described it to so many friends. For some, the distance from the historical center could be a problem. For us, it was just a matter of getting on the right bus and taking taxis when were tired of walking. The real benefit of being there is that you see the real Rome and not just the Rome the tourists see. If you want to really experience Rome this is an excellent place to stay. I was so happy not to be in a typical commercial lodging surrounded by tourists instead of Roman residents going about daily life.

The house is beautiful, nice atmosphere and the host was very-very kind.

You can have breakfast in the nice garden.
You have a separate door to come late at night and you don't disturb the others.
You can ask anything from the host. She is really kind, helpful. Always.
We got a nice map from her on the check-in date and she explained everything.
The house is not so close to the city center, but really good connections and night buses also.

The house is very beautiful, well-prepared garden, clean.
Our room was small, but clean and perfect for us, because it was just for sleeping. One double-bed, wardrobes, TV and the most important thing is the air conditioning.
Bathroom was clean and exactly what we needed.
Garden is nice and friendly.

Accomodation great, but a little far out from the main attractions. Located in a residential district, with few facilities nearby, but good public transport.

Owner was very helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Very friendly. Excellent standard of rooms, impressive jacuzzi.

It was a very nice place and we can recomend it to our friends. It is a bit away from the centre of Rome, you can nearly say in the countryside, but it is very close to the centre of Rome, going by bus or subway
Simona Vita was a very nice person.
When we go back to Rome we will stay in Casale Aktavilla.

We arrived in Rome and were thrilled with the location. The owner was very informative of the city and gave us some very useful tips on where to eat, etc. The restaurant that Simona tipped us off to was so good that we ate every dinner that we were in Rome - incredible. This kind of information is such a gem for tourists.

The room that we stayed in was like something from the movie,'Under the Tuscan Sun'. The washroom was so beautiful that we could have just stayed in that room alone. We stayed in the suite and it was worth every penny - which was a very fair price. The back yard was paradise - we had our breakfast outside every morning.

We ended up staying an additonal day in Rome, and, unfortunately for us we could not stay at our B& B since there was no room. I must say that the proprietor not only found us another place for the night, but she drove us to our other hotel. Who does that these days!

Romantic, quiet, secluded, yet you are in a great location. The bus and underground are so easy to get around - much faster than taxis.

Three lovely dogs, and very kind Simona welcomed us. There is an assistant in the villa who spoke our language (Hungarian) so it was a nice surprise for us. Simona also speaks very good English.

We enjoyed Rome very well, and altough the weather wasn't good with us, we discovered a lot of interesting things in the city.

Positive: close to public transport, wide variety of buses, you can reach any monumental place in 15-20 minutes. Green area, outside the downtown, with pleasant pizzerias. In summer swimming pool in the garden.
Negative: standard room is very small, so next time we will take the suite which is wonderfull

Ideal for relax, (garden, swimming pool, quite streets, surroundings) close to downtown with public transport, nice and very sympatic staff.
