It was a great welcome from the landlord, Vasco. We couldn't have stayed at a better place! ... The location was perfect... Close to everything. I would recommend this place to everyone.. The landlord was extremely helpful.. We felt like we were home! ... Truly, not only a bed and a bathroom! ... No but you should really publish reviews about this place. ... Perfect location, good amenities, close to everything. Very very comfortable..

Dealing with Vasco Petruzzi was nothing short of excellent. Maps and information on Rome that was in the apartment was great and we had a hasssle free holiday from start till finish (part from our airline changing our flights !). We will definately use romeby.com again. ... Apartment was excellent, great location and had everything we needed for our stay. ... Only negative (if that) was that the shower cubicle was very small. ... Excellent, great location, easy to get to, shops and restaurants nearby and a good price.

We were delighted with the accomodation. It's not exactly the Ritz but that we did not expect. We were a family of three brothers with their wives, a daughter and son-in-law and another adult daughter. We are all very close and it was ideal and great fun. The receptionist Lipo was most helpful in every respect. Unfortunately he wasn't there to meet us as he had problems with his motor bike but he made up for this with his cheerful personality and his willingness to go out and buy the few odd things to put matters 100% to suit our needs.
The only criticism of the apartments was the minimal size of the bathroom in Mastroianni; a large person would certainly find trouble having a shower. This room could and should be made larger by taking a little away from the living room.
The location is perfect and all in all when the entrance is tidied up, with a few plants etc I'd be happy to recommend it to anyone.
Iv (for group family Benjamin) ... Though, as I said before the bathroom in Mastroianni was extremely small and definitely needs enlarging, most especially the shower cubicle itself.
IT WOULD BE MOST HELPFUL IF THERE WAS A PAYPHONE IN THE FOYER/RECEPTION AREA. ... Until such time as it is altered it would be helpful to point out that the bathroom in Mastroianni is not for big people otherwise some visitors might be extremely disappointed ... Sufficient iformation given above. Currently I would rate the apartments in the following order: 1) Ekberg 2) Fellini 3) Mastroianni

Vasco was extremely helpful in introducing us to Rome by having maps available. He showed us where the most popular places were and circled them on the map. It made our introduction to Rome so much happier! ... The apartment was clean and tidy. There were supplies for breakfast in the refrigerator and on the table. It was a pleasant place and in such a great location - 10 steps to the Via Veneto - what could be better? ... Location was great! The apartment was very clean and organized. We loved it!

Vasco was there with a smile on his face to greet us upon arrival. ... The suites were beautiful and comfortable. Kitchen provided all that was needed. ... Perfect location. A few minutes by metro from Termini station and all other attractions. Also, within walking distance of many must see places in Roma! ATM located across the street. There is a little market next door and of course cafes and restaurants! Vasco makes you feel welcome and very helpful with suggestions of sights to see and how to go. I will stay there again!

We felt very welcomed and a good amount of time was spent showing us the accommodations, mobile numbers were provided in case of questions, etc. Very, very friendly people the Petruzzis. ... Positive: located in a wonderful section of Roma with a excellent choice of restaurants, outdoor cafes, and minutes walk away from the Spanish Steps, great shopping as well as the Villa Borghese park area. ... Very well located. Near good choice restaurants, bars, 'hot spots' for those with notebooks (laptops). You can easily walk to the famous Spanish Steps and shopping areas, or to the beautiful Villa Borghese park. A suitable market right across street, as well as great looking produce store right next store to the apartment (with a very friendly and helpful owner). The bathroom was a bit too small if we had to say something negative, however, that would not deter us from staying at the same location again.

The offer for a pickup at the airport was very much apreciated even if declined. ... The offer should be made for accommodation without breakfast since breakfast in Italy especially Rome is a cup of coffe (to be selfcatered from a kitchenette) and 2 cookies which is not a breakfast by any standards (in the UK the necessary facilities are standard on any room for teatime). It was very convenient to have a kitchenette and beforementioned point would not prevent me from booking again. ... A very cosy appartement in walking distance to the Metro and most sights of Rome. A homely interior and furnishing which provides some basic facilities for even a small lunch or dinner. Very good beds even for me sometimes having back trouble.

We had a wonderful time. The lady who greeted us gave us a map and spent 10minutes giving us information on the city that she was really enthusiatic about. If I came back to Rome I would definitely stay there again Thankyou Sam and Paul ... It was located in an ideal part of the city close to many sites and only a short walk to the metro and supermarket. Very clean and spacious, a home away from home. The owners were very friendly and helpful and I couldn't have been happier.

Everything went very smoothly. Although in booking we had had to give a preference regarding which apartment we wanted, we discovered on arrival that there was a choice!
Loris was very friendly and helpful. ... Very comfortable. Would be happy to recommend to others. ... Possibly emphasise excellence of location and transport facilities. Note suitability for families. Mention range of guides to local sights of interest to be found in the hallway. Would be helpful to give an indication of nearby supermarkets. ... Conveniently situated for city-centre sight-seeing and close to the green space and galleries in the Villa Borghese. There are plenty of good, easily accessed restaurants nearby (eg through the subterranean passage to/from Spagna at the top of Via Vittorio Veneto, which also contains a supermarket).

The driver was on time at the airport to pick us up and the ride was to the B&B was good. A bit of confusion when we got to the B&B since it was behond a door with no identification, only a bell push with the owner's name. The driver called the owners and they were in the apartment waiting for us. All terms of the voucher were met and we found the people to be very pleasent. ... Pros
Very good location, good security, bedroom was spaceous.
Very Clean
Cons
More of an apartment then a B&B
No one onsite, the owners and other staff were there every three days.
Electrical breaker tripped fairly often, even when we were using only the lights. ... Since no one was present, we just left the keys in the apartment and left.
The ride organized through RomeBy was on time and pleasent. ... More of an apartment than a B&B since no one was on site. The breakfast was several food items on a table in the Kitchen area.
Some kind of indication on the outside would be re-assuring to first time Rome visitors. Or, on the site give instructions to use the bell push with the owner's names.
While we were there, there was a fair amount of construction activity on the entrance and stairwell to the apartment which prevented us from getting back into the apartment several times.
The location is fantastic. Steps away from the via Veneto. The Bar across the street was really good as was the small grocer just to the right of the entrance. Easy access to fine food, shops and transportation.
... Excellent location, very clean. Friendly owners, but more of an apartment than a B&B.

The property is located in a business building and has no identification for ĻAlla Dolce Vita B&B. The room, which was located on the second or third floor did not have access thru the elevator so it was more confusing and I had to lift a very heavy bag thru the stairs trying to locate if any body new where the B&B was located. Finally one of the offices told me where it was. There was someone to recieve me at that time although the room was not ready and it was 1;30 pm. The accomodations were fairly good however some additional comments are:
-I stayed 4 nights and no cleaning/maid/towel change service was offered. -The breakfast consisted of one liter of juice , one of milk and decafinatted coffee that we needed to prepare ourselves and sweet and plain crackers with mermelade for the 4 days. Definitevely not enough quantity, quality or variety if you are offering 'breakfast'. They should say better that they offer a kitchennett and the juice and milk and coffe would be a nice surprise!. -The room was facing the street so it was noisy and difficult to sleep at night. -The TV had only Italian channels although,we were not able to turn it on. Specify that you have TV but only local channels. I was dissapointed with the above. These things should be clarify as well as the access and location of the studio. The physical address was correct , but I was not expecting a building with offices with no ID of the B&B.
Eventhough all of the above I enjoyed my stay but they could improve these things for the next travellers. Karen ... The room was clean and spacious but noisy. As for the staff, after arrival I did not see anybody again.
Could improve the quality of the towels, they were old and thin. ... I payed in advance so no one was there for checkout. ... Clarify instructions for check inn. Clarify what they mean by breakfast and maid service. ... Good value if travelling more than two persons in the family because it has a futton and then you can really save some money if you have children and don't need to pay a second room and have a kitchennet to prepare breakfast and snacks.

I would prefer not to have to settle the account at the commencement of my stay.
Although we had no difficulties. ...
The breakfast for the five nights was there on arrival. Tea and Coffee with a biscuit would have been a more accurate disciption. ... We did not meet anybody on day of check as the account was already settled.
As we stayed 5 nights, I though after 3 nights there might have been pro-rata reduction. ... Good locationa and idea if you had a small child. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly on arrival

The owners of the property arrived about half an hour after we arrived. They were very friendly and generous with their time. ... The property was clean and the beds were made, and fresh towels were provided half way thru our stay. The kitchen facility was very tiny and inadequate. Teh bathroom was also very tiny. A lack of washing machine was a problem since there were no laundry facilities anywhere nearby.
