What makes the home so exclusive is the fact that it fills an entire building: you walk through the front door, and you are at home, without any neighbouring apartments, as in other buildings. The total living area of approximately 1070 square feet is divided into a ground-floor plus five other floors. The air conditioning is available in the double bedrooms on the first and third floor, in the dining room and in the living room on the fifth floor
A comfortable, centuries-old stairway made of Roman stone winds its way from one floor to another. The historic status of the structure prevents installation of an elevator, but the stairway and the small living spaces on each floor are what makes the home so exceptionally welcoming and unique, lending an unmistakable sensation of authenticity to your stay in Rome. On the first floor there is an air-conditioned room with a double bed plus an ample window that looks out onto Via Alibert.
The furnishings are new and highly functional, designed to reconcile comfort and warmth. There is a bureau with plenty of roomy drawers, plus a full-length mirror with a hidden clothes compartment. The room has a large bathroom that also comes with a sizeable window giving onto the street, plus an ample shower stall and all the other standard sanitary services. |
On the second floor the only bedroom in the house that does not have its own bathroom at the same level, but takes advantage of the one in the basement. It is perfect for two people, relatives or children, who can share the bathroom with the couple staying in the room below or in the room on the next floor up. The two adult-size bunk beds were chosen in order to maximize the floor space. The room has a large window that looks out onto Via Alibert.
The third floor layout is the same as on the First floor. An air-conditioned room with a double bed facing out onto Via Alibert. Lots of space for clothes, with a bureau and a wardrobe closet decorated with traditional floral motifs. The furnishings are new and highly functional, showing the care that has been given to even the smallest detail. This room also has a large bathroom with a window that looks out onto the Via Alibert, a roomy bathtub with a shower attachment and all the other necessary services, including a clothes-washer. |
On the fourth floor the dining room, air-conditioned, faces onto Via Alibert and can seat up to eight people for meals enjoyed in superb comfort. The modern, coordinated decorating scheme, which includes a handsome glass table, eight comfortable seats and a serving cart, is designed to be warm and welcoming, as well as easy to clean and maintain.
The dining room is connected with the ample kitchen which has a large window looking out on Via Alibert, plus everything needed to prepare meals for a numerous or extended family, including a dishwasher.
On the fifth floor the living room is the heart of the home. An ample space is filled with light by two large windows that look out onto Via Alibert, as well as a third window that gives onto the terrace. Furnished in a highly functional manner, air-conditioned and enriched with antique decorative elements, it is a setting where all the guests can relax. This is the room where the television is located. |
Rome's mild climate makes it possible to extend the living room space onto the terrace with space for another table where meals can be enjoyed out in the open, or you can simply relax in the sun. The windows of the living room, as well as the terrace, offer a delightful view of the roofs of City, as well as the slopes of the Pincio gardens and the stirring façade of the historic Villa Medici. On fifth floor there is the fourth room of the house, which comes with a window that looks out onto Via Alibert, plus a connected terrace.
The two beds in the room can be used either as twin beds or combined into a double bed. The advantage of the room is its separate entrance to the terrace, making it possible to take full advantage of this open space. The room has a small bathroom. |
