It is also possible to use the fridge to store food or drinks. Our staff will be more than glad to help you in all your demands, as regards bookings for visits, restaurants, taxis, and about all the current and main events in the city. There is a parking garage a few blocks away for a charge and upon request. We offer shuttle pickup to and from both airports. Rates depend on the number of people and amount of baggage. |

Within walking distance there is New Auditorium of Rome, the main centre for music in the city, where all art and most important events take place. By tram no. 2 it is possible to reach very quickly the "Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna", in Villa Borghese, opened in 1883, where are exhibited the most important bodies of works, mainly paintings and sculptures, of 19th and 20th century, with recurrent special exhibitions. 100 metres away there is the "Museo Nazionale di Villa Giulia", founded in 1889, where there are necropolis', pottery, artefacts, funerary objects and jeweller's craft. Taking the subway and getting off at Barberini, and walking along Via Veneto you will reach "Galleria Borghese", created by Cardinal Scipione Borghese. Ground floor is dedicated to sculptures, while the first floor to picture gallery. Also in Via Barberini there is "Galleria di Palazzo Barberini", created in 1895, with a huge collection of paintings. All of these places can be reached either by walking, subway, or comfortable buses. We can also recommend a wide variety of typical restaurants and trattorias, where you can taste the typical roman cuisine, at reasonable and convenient prices, further than several cafè's and pubs. The area around Vatican Museums - Via Candia, Via Ottaviano, Via Cola di Rienzo, is very famous for shopping, from clothing, to shoes, souvenirs and other Italian products. For those who come by car, we can recommend several garages close to the B&B. |
