Warm & welcoming. ... Very clean, spacious and very comfortable. ... Efficient and very friendly. ... Extremely friendly and very informative. Ruggero went out of his way to provide information on what to see, where to eat, and the best and most economical way to do everything in Rome. ... This is a 'must stay' accommodation.

Perfect location; not in the middle of all the noice from cars and scooters, but still close to all the attractions. The landlord, Mr. Ruggero Mazzone, was very nice and always willing to help.

We had no problem getting to the property. The instructions were very easy to follow. ... Ruggero was helpful in arranging tours etc. He was helpful in suggesting resteraunts in the area. We had the feeling we could rely on him for help any time. ... No problems. ... Not fancy but certainly Clean and perfect location. Easy to get to from the Metro.

At my arrival Mr. Rugero welcomed us and above that was helpful in giving information about what places are worth visiting. ... The property was clean but above that the owners made more than comfortable our stay with their hospitality. ... Owner was present to help if any problem would occur. Made our stay more unforgettable. ... It is located close to the Vatican as it is described. The property was always clean and tidy. Owners were friendly, helpful and very hospitable. I would highly recommend it and I myself would check in here again during my next visit.

Our host Ruggaro was very helpful! He had arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and also to take us to Civitavecchia (At a very resonable price.)This was very helpful to us, and saved us a lot of time, trouble and money. We were very pleased with the accomedation. It was very clean, and the location was excellent. Ruggaro was very helpful with anything we needed and made himself available. Over all for the price we were very happy and would go there again and recommend it to our friends. Bev Gray, Red Deer, Canada

They were there waiting for us and welcomed us even though we arrived very early. We were offered coffee and snack and told if we wished to relax on their patio until our room was ready we could. They also offered to look after our luggage if we wished to take a walk around the area. In short very welcoming. ... Our stay was very pleasant, the couple owning the B&B were very helpful in directing us around Rome and finding out about the Metro and the best fares. Having them speak good english was a big plus. ... economical yet very adequate. Along with friendly.

Rogero was very helpful and accomodating ... As you are in the middle of Rome, wear earplugs, the room is also not sound proof to the other rooms, the room was spacious and good washroom facilities. ... Very well located, there is a daily market one block down, take the taxi to get there as the subway could be cumbersome with luggages. The terrace is nice but small, the breakfast is not served, you take what you wish in the packages and you must make your coffee.

We arrived very late and Ruggero was outside waiting for us when the taxi arrived so it was all well organized. We had a very warm welcome. ... We were very happy with this B&B - the room was spacious and very clean. There were only 2 other rooms so it was quiet as long as you don't have any noisy neighbors. The location was great: right around the corner is a market where you can get fresh fruits, metro was nearby and we were only few minutes walk to the Vatican Museum. Ruggero was also extremely helpful in providing tips and advice. ... Checking out was well organized as well. We were able to leave our luggages and come back for pick up later in the day. A taxi was organized for us to get to the airport and the timing was also well planned since we would be leaving in the middle of traffic hour. ... I would highly recommend this place to anyone - from families to seniors, even backpackers. The location was great, the owners are very kind and helpful, there's a market right around the corner, and it's not in the middle of a highly touristy area yet just a few steps from the Vatican, so the area has reasonably priced restaurants and good service. For example, we stopped for a bite to eat before leaving to the airport and the cafe was bustling with locals and service was exceptional (you can't count on such hospitality in a touristy area). I'll certainly come back to stay here if I'm ever back in Rome!

Our managers were most helpful and tried to insure that we accomplished what ever we set out to see in Rome. Their tips and kind obligedness was most appreciated. We would love to send all our friends to them when they go to Rome.We were very close to Vatican City and once we conquered the Metro it was simple to go every where we wanted to visit. Seven days wasn't enough to take it all in! Thank you, A&K ... A convenient delightful Roman experience!

Everything was fine except the staff were smoking and the rooms are stuffy. We are non-smokers so therefore the air is stifling. ... Smokey Rooms ... Fair

By the way, we did not get exactly what we expected from the web site. But they gave us alot of material, maps, etc. to get acclimated. ... It is not easy to say if it was better or worse, but it was different than we expected. For example, the room was exactly as pictured: very good size, very pleasant, but it was not clear from the web description that we were literally occupying one of the two main bedrooms in a private apartment, and not a very big apartment at that. Having rented other apartments/ B & B apts., it was a surprise that this was not as private or independent as we imagined. Then on the web site, it is indicated that in the common area are laundry facilities. We thought we would have access to use the washer. Not so. But the biggest problem was that we needed to have access to a computer so we could coordinate with friends, also traveling in Rome, meeting places , etc. each day. The computer was only sometimes working, and not often. This was a very big problem, as sometimes we needed to leave very early, earlier than the local public computer, telephone center and we could not send e- mails to confirm times and locations. We missed a couple meetings and found our personal logistics much more complicated because of this. This was a definite headache. Had we known we would not have certain access to a computer, given our needs and no cell phone, we would have probably chosen a different place.Breakfast was everything packaged and not very good, but that is minor. However, the good part was that Ruggiero and Barbara were kind, helpful, and when Italy won the Cup, we shared some of the food they'd made for a party.. very personable couple. If you are more clear about what services are, and are not readily availabe on the web site and make clear that this is a shared apartment with the owners, then there can be no space for disappointment. They are a nice couple. ... I didn't review the web site. These are my honest impressions. We have stayed in hotels, B & B's, home rentals, many kinds of places, in Europe, the United States and Latin America. Therefore, we have had many kinds of experiences, and don't feel our expectations were too high. The couple are very, very helpful and caring, but they do need to fix the computer or don't advertise that it's there. Don't mention laundry facilities and a terrace, but the terrace is available and the laundry not. ... Nice people. Clean, nice big room, fine for couple with a child but inside a small apartment without too much privacy.
