Whilst the gentleman who met us was very polite and tried to be helpful it was difficult to communicate with him as he did not speak a word of English and I had forgotten most of my school girl Italian. It would also be helpful if a map of Rome was left for guests as well as a guide in English for the operation of the washing machine and approximate cycle durations. ... See below
I would like to commend you on making sure there was dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher and powder for the washing machine. This is extremely helpful and is often not provided by small operators. Soap for the bathrooms should also be provided as many people would expect an initial supply. ... I think that you should mention that the kitchen is extremely small and stress that it does not have an oven or a full size dishwasher. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. You could include an egg flip/slide although I have noticed that not many Italian apartments include one. ... A comfortable apartment for a couple with one or two children provided they did not intend to cook evening meals very often. The location was extremely good with a small 'supermarket' nearby and of course the Campo dei Fiori within walking distance. The apartment was a little noisy with the bars immediately opposite. This could prove more of a problem in summer.
