 Bed & Breakfast "A Casa di Lia" is in a central, perfect location for sightseeing Rome: only minutes by public transport from the beginning of historic centre at Piazza del Popolo, via del Corso and the Spanish Steps, in a quiet area by the river Tiber, Flaminio, a few steps from the Olympic Stadium, Foro Italico, Auditorium Parco della Musica and Stadio Flaminio. |
The Bed & Breakfast is at the top floor of a restored Roman palace of the beginning of last century, with elevator, inside a lovely penthouse with a roof terrace overlooking Rome's skyline. |
 It is surrounded by gardens with trees and courtyards, in a residential complex of houses of years 20s with no traffic noise: Villa Riccio, an oasis in the centre of Rome. When coming back after your tours of Rome, you can relax and feel at your ease, like at home. You can experience a B&B kind of hospitality, enjoy a live and artistic athmosphere and you will keep your own privacy at the same time. Lia speaks English fluently and some Spanish and French. |
 In order to make your reservation, you definitely must like pets: they usually don't enter the part of the apartment destined to B&B, but if you are allergic to cats' hair or afraid of dogs, this B&B is not the right choice. The part of the attic reserved to B&B is made up of 2 comfortable double bed bedrooms, also single use, each one with private en-suite bathroom and hair-drier, and of a breakfast room. It is not possible to separate the double bed in 2 twins beds. |
 There is central heating in Winter and electric fans in Summer. The view from the bedrooms' window is over a wide open courtyard with gardens with trees and a cedar of Lebanon in the middle. The Italian Continental Breakfast (coffee, cappuccino, tea, with croissants and toasted bread with butter and jam) is self service and is available in the breakfast room, where there is also a fridge reserved to guests. |
