There was no problem. We could even leave our luggage till 1pm in the property as our flight was later in the afternoon.

A valuable place to stay. A goog deal for the money and value it offers. (They gave us also the map of Rome and showed us the best places to go.) Very close to the old city (only about 10-15minutes walking to the Coloseum).

Absolute was very clean and the host very helpful. It was a very fair price. Our only comment is that the entrance hall to the building needs to be cleaned on a regular basis.

The owner, Alexis, was wonderful! He cheerfully met us (we were a little late due to our flight)and proceeded to make us feel right at home. He presented us with a map of Rome and then took the time to show us various bus routes, metro lines, etc. He even gave us suggestions on places to eat!He is a most gracious host!

Our room exceeded our expectations! The room was huge with a king size bed (for my husband and myself) and a twin size bed for our son. The bathroom was a nice size.
We must comment that the room was SPOTLESS!
It was the cleanest room we have stayed in on our 17 day trip (and the biggest).
Every morning Alexis had a wonderful breakfast for all to share- fresh breads,croissants, yogurt,cheeses,etc that were delicious!
We felt like we could ask Alexis any question we had and he always took the time to answer or to find the answer!

The rooms are huge. Some rooms we stayed in at other hotels looked larger than they were due to the camera angle of the picture-but these rooms were big(so nice since we had our 20yr old son traveling with us).

Clean, spacious, homely and very helpful owner who provided a large scaled map of the famous sides of Rome. Quiet position, not far from the centre at all. Close to everything. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walking from the B&B if needed for water and staff.

First Class. Cosy, friendly, cheap and smack in the middle of Rome! Excellent continental style breakfast and spacious rooms. Basic accommodation but clean, tidy and warm. There was nothing we were missing. Owners extremely helpful and friendly. In reply to some adverse comments on the size of the showers, may I respectfully suggest you lose some weight, as I found them more than adequate!

My wife and I had a great stay for two nights. It is better than advertised. The room is clean, quiet and spacious. The metro is only a block away. The breakfast is very good. The host is most outstanding. We had a great experience and would stay there again.

we had wonderful days in Rome, Alexis was very friendly und we could feel us like at home. We learned much about the way how people live, think and feel in Rome and it was very often in an other way as in Germany. So our voyage was very exciting: we had a lot of impressions about the old history, the vatican and lots of other interesting topics.

Very positive is that there are only a few guests in the hotel and therefore there is a very familiar atmosphere. In teh evenin we could use the kitchen or the living room and when we had speclia wishes, Alexis fulfilled in a very kindly way. So we had more the feeling of a family than a hotel.

Alexis was extremely friendly, warm and hospitable. He allowed us to settle in then provided maps and other very useful information about Rome.

We extended our stay twice and each room we were moved to was clean, spacious and cool. Alexis was always happy to accommodate for us and took much pride in preparing breakfast and looking after us in general. I would recommend Absolut to ny one.

Perhaps mention the little kitchenette that is clean and available for use at all hours. This is definately a positive for budget travellers. Also the free internet use and supermarket located within metres of the B&B. Also, Alexis' sister provides massage and comes direct to the B&B.

The location is very conviently located right near the Termini train station. The door itself isn't quite clearly marked, but finding it wasn't too much trouble at all.

The host was fantastic and provided us with a great map of Roma, on which he took the time to highlight the famous sites and directions on how to arrive at each one.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Roma. The location is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, the hosts are so kind, and right across the street is the oldest Gelateria in all of Roma, called Fassi!

The problem with question 11 was that I didn´t remember to contact the staff the day before leaving, and we left sunday morning at 07.00. Noone were there at that time. But it is cleared out.

We didn't arrive in Rome until aprox 23:00. Alexis, our host, was available by phone and waited for us to arrive at the B & B to let us in. I was very impressed with his flexibility and overall hospitality.

Stayed at the Abosolute B&B, very clean room. Found the accomodation very good as we had a 1 year old little boy with us and we could put him to bed and sit in the lobby and relax while he was asleep

Just the fact that when we arrived the metro was shut (10pm) so we had to find out which bus to take, then walk, all sorted though.

The late posting of this is in no way a reflection on the property. The bb was fantiastic, prime location for sightseeing and any transport needed and a supermarket on the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Alexi was most helpful...definitly follow his advice on where to eat!!! You will not be dissapointed. We had access to kitchen and internet which was not expected. The breakfast was simple but definitly kept us going (realy enjoyed the cheese!!) Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this to anyone. Delighted to find he also has self catering apartments in the north of city...definitly worth a look i think! Really cannot praise this place enough. Its simple but really, what more do you need? We didnt want for anything.

Alexis was very welcoming and gave us loads of information about getting around in Rome. The apartment was in an ideal spot from which to explore. It was great to have the whole apartment to ourselves, as there were 7 of us altogether.

It would be a good idea to state it was a four double bed apartment as groups of four couples would certainly see it as an advantage to book the whole apartment, as this makes it more private and secure. Breakfast could have been varied a little bit more.

Absolute Bed and Breakfast was in a good location, near train station and walking distance to most of the sites. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and very helpful in helping us with transportation and directions for seeing the sites.

The property was not a five minute walk from the colleseum as described in the brochure. more like 20 - 30 minutes. However the accomodation was superb.

We had to call for someone to come it. But it only took about 15 minutes and he was very friendly.
Bedroom turned out to be with a bathroom in the corridor, unlike agreed. We did get a 10% discount though.

In terms of Question 4 we thought we were getting an ensuite but had a private bathroom outside the room - not a big deal though.

Really close to the Colosseum (walking distance)....really close to Metro....short (and cheap) taxi ride at night from the centre (as two girls travelling wouldnt really want to be on the Metro and then walking home at night).
Owners really helpful in pointing out what is worth / not worth seeing and suggesting some places to eat.

The site listed the accomodations as child friendly, but we were repeatedly asked to be quiet. A dificult thing to do with a 1 year old and 3 year old when it rained for three straight days. I expected more empathy from other guests and owners, but did not receive it. I would not recommend this as a child friendly establishment.
