Only a few minutes walk past the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Piazza
Venezia you may reach the Basilicas Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni in Laterano and the University area of San Lorenzo. You can reach Trastevere with tram n° 3, the perfect place for a romantic evening and the Catacombs with bus n° 218, located on the ancient Appia Antica. Absolute B&B in Rome, quiet and bright, is situated on the fourth floor of a 19th century Patrician building and has recently been restored. A few steps from the B&B are some of the most beautiful Roman landmarks: the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Basilicas of St.Maria Maggiore and St. Giovanni in Laterano. The places of major tourist and cultural interest in Rome, including St Peters and the Vatican, can easily be reached by metro and bus. Absolute is 300 mt from the Air terminal (the direct train from the airport Da Vinci of Fiumicino) and one metro stop from the central train station Termini (which you reach by bus from the airport of Ciampino). Nearby you will find typical Roman restaurants, a supermarket, Piazza Vittorio's historical fruit market, a dry cleaner's, and opposite Absolute B&B you can try a delicious ice cream at the historical Palazzo del Freddo "G.
