You will also be staying close form Piazza del Popolo, the so-called most beautiful square in the city. In the Vatican City, which will surely be your first stop- St Peter`s Basilica was finished in 326: Raphael and Michelangelo were responsible for many of the changes made to the façade, and in 1626 the Basilica that we know today was a reality. At the Vatican Museums, you cannot miss the Egyptian collections, the Borgia apartments and the Raphael Rooms. |
